Next Clinton in the White House may be Chelsea
By Tony Allen-Mills
March 03, 2008 04:30am Article from: The Australian
CHELSEA Clinton, once a gawky teenager, pictured between her parents and holding their hands as if to keep them together while having them a safe distance apart, has emerged as the family hope for dynastic succession as Hillary's campaign falters.
The 28-year-old has blossomed on Hillary's campaign, drawing admiring reviews from bloggers and senior Democrats ... and, of course, her parents.
At campaign meetings on university campuses across the country, student audiences have been gasping at the confident, articulate, personable spokeswoman who has been singing her mother's praises in more than 20 states.
"Yeah," wrote a student blogger in South Carolina after Chelsea appeared at his college. "Intelligent, nice voice, sexy. She's really blossomed into a hot woman."
In a presidential campaign filled with surprises, Chelsea Clinton has sprung one of the most intriguing. She has emerged from the shadow of her famous parents to carve out her own political identity as both a devoted and persuasive surrogate for her mother - and, just maybe, as a dynasty's next best hope.
Is America about to discover that a younger, prettier but potentially just as formidable Clinton is ready to pick up the baton?
She turned 28 last week and won't be eligible to run for the White House until she's 35.

If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life never make a pretty woman your wife so for my personal point of view get a ugly girl to marry you!
I’ve seen some really ugly men manage to get married.
Men don’t have to be pretty to marry pretty women. We are judged on how we would provide.
Why are you bothering to argue something so basic. She will become an old bitter hag like most of her libfem sisters.
Pray for W and Our Troops
LOL! I don’t care either way. I’ve seen some pretty ugly women marry too. Most people I know choose their life partner based on more than looks. I think my husband is a good looking man. I didn’t marry him for that. I also didn’t marry him for his ability to provide for me, which is a good thing considering we struggled for many years. If I’d married him - or if any of my friends married their Hs - on that, we’d all probably be pretty disappointed. I chose him because we shared many of the same values, felt the same way about family and important things, and because I could see myself growing old with him. I couldn’t imagine spending my life without him. He often says I saved him, that he probably would be dead or incarcerated by now had he not found me. Looks never played into it.
Looks fade and change. A partner who is your friend is for life.
FWIW, the MSM "HAS" maintained a hands off attitude with Ms. Clinton so that is why you don't know if the young lady has a history of being a party babe or not.
The Bush daughters should have been so lucky, they were fair game from the beginning.
Double standard? What do you think?
Not to stir the pot, but has there been any questions raised by the MSM as to why the young ms. clinton was immediately hired into a job in New York making over a hundred grand a year????????? Or is the wage scale in New York such that a hundred thousand dollars plus per year minimum wage???????
Inquiring minds want to know but your MSM isn't going to give an answer.......
Any room for a maverick Freeper here? This I will soon find out. As I have said for such varied figures as Billy Cunningham (taking over from Drudge)and Prince Harry, (he of the so called "Nazi uniform") and his foray into Afganistan.
"Give them a bloomin chawnce".
For Chelsea and including the two twin daughters of that nicest First Lady and GWB. They (children) have really hurt no body- as far as we know.
Let's see how they shape up.
PS. To digress, took the liberal spouse over to wind swept Upper Michigan this evening. Turned back after six miles because of the impending snow drifting. (to an out of town casino). Stayed in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan for a spell. I watched a bit of NSCAR there. Now talk about normalcy- you have it! LOL
I agree with you. I also would say that Chelsea had apparently hurt a lot of people here personally, from their comments. There seems to be a lot of anger directed at her, and a lot of hatred for her looks. If there is a lot more to her story and the MSM hasn’t published it, I can’t figure out why the anger is at her and not at the MSM. Or why, since she’s not a public figure, does it even matter to anyone...
And before anyone yawps that being a former Presidential daughter makes her a public figure, my own opinion is that it doesn’t, any more than being Angelina Jolie’s son makes you a celebrity. I figure I could care less what she makes a year, how she got the job, how much she drinks or who she dates. Any more than I care about what the Nixon daughters are doing, or Amy Carter or any anonymous 28 year old in the US. I don’t need to peer into private lives. And while she may be helping her mother (as many presidential candidates kids do), she’s not running for any public office.
Brrr. I thought it was cold here last night. Never mind, it was tropical and balmy compared to where you were!
wow. what a visual.
Webb has the dough for plastic surgery?
I don't think so.
LOL Anyone who thinks Chelsea is ‘hot’ has spent his life surrounded by the worst of the frizzy-haired, non-leg-shaving, no-deodorant-using feminists.
