I once asked in another thread if Obama will alienate voters because he is black (well half black). Well, I think this video is "too black" (not that there is anything wrong with being black or voting for blacks). However, this video, with its African/tribal-styled chanting of Obama, and all the black faces will, IMHO alienate a lot of non-black voters.

Even though one of the people in the video (a celeb?) says "Obama will not just be a president for black Americans", the video basically screams that he will primarily be a president for black Americans, and that we will start talking seriously about reparations, etc.

Honestly for the "independent, undecided, middle-of-the-road" type voter, I think a video like this is a "no sale". It will work for college students, Hollywood and leftists, but I think it will backfire on "normal" people.

Totally agree. In addition, about 10% of the video is in Spanish, a real stick in the eye for most folks.

Repubs have been very fortunate in their presidential opponents. Obama (or Hillary if she somehow pulls it out) is even more unelectable Gore or Kerry.
