I know many people who have cured their diabetes with diet and exercise, not “magic bullets” from the local pharmacy. Imagine that.
Normally, that would be type II due to overweight, lack of exercise, and poor eating habits.
Normally, type I diabetes, due to disease of the pancreas, cannot be controlled or “cured” in that way.
Type I diabetes is an auto immune disease that destroys the cells that produce insulin.
Type II diabetes is usually an condition of excess calories and resistence to the insulin the body continues to make, completely different diseases.
Not type 1. I’m a fitness trainer (to be...few more months!). You don’t cure type 1 diabetes with diet and exercise.
You're talking about Type 2 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease which usually strikes in childhood. It's related to MS and autoimmune thyroid disease (the cause, not the symptoms). In Type 1 diabetes the islet cells (insulin producing cells) are destroyed by the body's own immune system.
It can't be caused by a bad diet and exercise and is nobody's fault.
They don’t have type 1.
Don't be an idiot.
Pill control Diabetes can be controlled with diet and exercize. People who cna’t make insulin must take injections.
