RE: Obama Must-Wins
The media has anointed Barack Obama the presumptive nominee and hes playing the part.
With an eleven state winning streak coming out of February, Senator Obama is riding a surge of momentum that has enabled him to pour unprecedented resources into Texas, Ohio, Rhode Island and Vermont.
The Obama campaign and its allies are outspending us two to one in paid media and have sent more staff into the March 4 states. In fact, when all is totaled, Senator Obama and his allies have outspent Senator Clinton by a margin of $18.4 million to $9.2 million on advertising in the four states that are voting next Tuesday.
Senator Obama has campaigned hard in these states. He has spent time meeting editorial boards, courting endorsers, holding rallies, and - of course - making speeches.
If he cannot win all of these states with all this effort, theres a problem.
Should Senator Obama fail to score decisive victories with all of the resources and effort he is bringing to bear, the message will be clear:
Democrats, the majority of whom have favored Hillary in the primary contests held to date, have their doubts about Senator Obama and are having second thoughts about him as a prospective standard-bearer.

The Clinton spin machine has selected Whirling Dervish Mode............
you gotta give her credit. She’s a fighter and will only go down swinging. But personally, I say let the dhimmicrats pull a McGovern all over again.
Having said that, we are misunderestimating Obama. Our calling him an empty suit is like liberals calling Bush stupid. Be careful.
On the one hand, so many like to say Obama can’t keep up this dog and pony show for 8 months. On the other hand, he is learning and adapting as he goes along. Add in his more than competent handlers and I say we are going to be looking at a very different kind of Democrat nominee come September.
Remember, unlike so many of his predecessors, he has the music. The dhimmicrats have not had a candidate with these kinds of oratorical skills since maybe Kennedy, maybe William Jennings Bryan? Whatever, face it. He has strengths that must be dealt with and we will screw it up if we keep playing them down.
EGAD!....My eyes! My eyes! Larger than life hildabeast spotting!
Another lame attempt by the Clinton campaign to salvage the worst run U.S. presidential campaign in history. Hey Penn and Wolfson, give it up. Your candidate is going down in flames.
You go girl! Yes You Can!
She can’t quit even if she wants to. She has surrounded hereself with criminals who won’t let her.

Is this the memo that got spun as a potential withdrawal for Hillary?
On another thread, trisham had heard Hillary might withdraw today. I didn’t think she would withdraw.
In general, I think it is a bad idea to issue memos like this one. If a candidate is in the race, the default assumption is that he or she will continue to run. If a candidate does start talking about withdrawal, then it discourages the fence sitters — as well as the loyalists.
can I send you my photo to work on?
I do not think at all she is withdrawing.
What a fine thought. Let them killwound each other to death.
She will stage a total victory party in Rhode Island after she takes him down by 2% there. Then she will say this election is bigger than any 3 states and promise to fight for every last delegate on the convention floor and use “all means necessary” to convince doubters, who all know who they are in the superdelegate group. Fear will rule the night...
GD that brings on horrifying images...
As big a problem as her losing 11 in a row? Frankly, I hope she stays in until and through the Dem convention. The resentments and anger will likely tear apart the party. And we know that she'll never give up gracefully -- getting her out of the race will be harder than getting her and Blubba out of the White House when Bush was inaugurated.
If she wins in two of the primaries, she will show her true colors and rip BaaBaarack Hussein 24/7. The BaaBaarack Hussein will rip her 24/7.
Hopefully it will be time to break out the Lazy Boys, the pop corn and some cold ones to watch them destroy each other.
OK, lets take it to the very last step to where that was going.
You're right but will they be decisive enough?
I think you nailed it. I don’t think she’s strong or a fighter. I think Bill and his Arkansas mafia wont let her quit.
