Michelle Obama: name Hussein is 'the fear bomb'

Michelle Obama, who often has decried "the fear bomb'' that opponents have used against her husband for his middle name -- Barack Hussein Obama -- said in Canton, Ohio, today that it is happening again and shows why it's so important that he wins election as president.
"They threw in the obvious, ultimate fear bomb," Obama said today of her husband's 2004 Senate race. "We're even hearing [that] now.
'When all else fails, be afraid of his name, and what that could stand for, because it's different.'"
The senator's wife said that rivals use innuendo to play on fears. "Just as they're saying it now," she said.
But, she told about 200 supporters this morning at a restored theater in Canton, Obama won despite that "climate of negativity and doubt" in 2004. "We learned, number one, that when power is threatened by real change they will say anything to stop it," she said. "But we also learned that the American people can handle the truth."
What America needs, she added, is a "fundamentally different kind of leadership," one that challenges people to be different, and better to one another. And that, she said to critics who say it is not his time, cannot wait.
"Barack Obama will be the kind of leader we need right now, not in four years or eight years or 12 years," she said. "We can't wait to get this right. We need it to happen today."

Or, as Teddy Kennedy famously called him, “Osama Obama.”
And, if Kennedy, even while drunk, can’t get it straight, how does Michelle expect the rest of us to re-act to it?

MATTHEWS: Rush Limbaugh's playing this game of saying, what's wrong with bringing up his middle name, what's wrong with playing that name? Is this going to be a vicious, almost ethnic fight going after the guy because of his heritage, his name, and saying he's going to sell us out. Is that what's coming?...
RUSH:
By the way, hey, Chris, who was it that released that picture of Obama in the Ayman al-Zawahiri garb? Chris, I think it was the Clinton campaign who put that picture out, was it not? And who first really made a big deal of Obama's middle name? Was it not Senator Bob Kerrey, a Democrat from Nebraska? And who, I might add, was it that ran around and talked about him selling drugs, and maybe being a coke dealer, could that have been Bill Shaheen, another Democrat in New Hampshire? And who was it, Chris, who started playing the race card? What of Bob Johnson, the guy from BET, what did he say?

I get a kick out of watching the angry Mrs Obama. She starts with those hand movements & her face twists up & I laugh like h-ll. When I heard she was being compared to Jackie Kennedy I was a bit disgusted. She will never ever be in the same class as Jackie IMHO.

Not only is Hussein Obama unqualified and inexperienced, but, as the past few weeks have shown, most autocratic. Can't criticize (the left cannot defend their ideas from reason). Can't use the middle name. Can't call him a lib (I prefer communist or marxist, myself). No, you can't!

How did he get the name?
He was named after his father a devote muslim.
Why hasn’t he legally changed his name if it is so offensive?
Within the muslim faith, what happens when a muslim born a muslim and raised a muslim converts to Christianity?
Any devote muslim who knows of such a situation has the responsibility of killing that person. They are considered evil and must be eliminated.

“... Are we nuts or something? What the hell has happened to our people?”
If people follow through with their threats to stay home on election day and/or not vote for President, we will get a President who is everything mentioned in your post. How is that for a fear bomb?

It ‘s not just DIFFERENT, Michelle. It’s a MUSLIM name. Now Hooginbottom might just be called “different,” but HUSSEIN is MUSLIM.

Unless, of course, they can be more “useful” to you, alive.

The right isn’t in fear of using Barack Hussein Obama’s middle name. His middle name terrifies his wife though, which is why she didn’t mention it in a speech that was about "it".
