I voted Periot, and got 8 years of Clinton. I swore I would never again waver in my defense of the GOP, and yesterday explained to my eight-year-old girl what "hold your nose and vote" means.

Still, my heart is damn near outvoting my brain, and the phrase "teach them a lesson" is struggling to force it's way up my throat. Attacking Willie in Ohio is about the stupidest thing McCain has done yet, and IS going to lose him votes, if only because if he can't keep his temper with those IN his party, he's going to give some the impression that he is too volitile to deal with foreign leaders without "going off".

...not to mention having his fingees on the nuclear buttons! “McCain Unhinged” is a redundant phrase...

Yes, “teaching a lesson” only works with your kids!

I can only speak for myself, and I can tolerate a man with whom I disagree on some issues, (even very important issues), but cannot tolerate a man who is disloyal, uses liberal parlance for votes, uses liberal smears for votes, uses Republican’s most dangerous enemy (the MSM) for votes, works against Republicans, and threatens to join the UnAmerican Democrat Party.

In no way is a man like that advancing the Right or even center Right.

He is exacerbating the problems we have.

Well said my fellow Ohio friend! I've been listening to Willie today and he is still railing against McCain. I had thought about holding my nose but I am just not sure I can do it. At least with Bush you thought you were voting for one thing and you ended up with another. With McCain, you know it's bad going in...
