Anyone notice how we haven’t been bombarded by that “Global warming we are all going to die” crap by the MSM for the last several weeks? These people are silly sycophants desperate to control other people’s lives.

I took
7000/4500000 * 300/7000 = 300/4500000 = 1/15000
you took ( 300/5280 * 7000 ) / ( 7000/5280 * 4500000 ) = .0000667
... which is the same thing. But then you threw in a gratuitous % sign; an error of syntax.

The worse possible outcome of reports like this is that politicians will read this stuff and be convinced by some lobbyist that only more hot air from politicians can reverse the trend.

“GISS at the end of course is the one global warmers will cherry pick”
GISS is the the least credible in my eyes. I believe they are the ones who have been caught cooking the books twice now. GISS is led by James Hansen. (This is all from memory, as I don’t have time to research, confirm/verify, before going to work.)

I wouldn’t worry about too much about the Nobel Prize he received, it has achieved the same importance of a Cracker Jack toy.

Paul Harvey talking about this now.
Thank goodness, a little break thru in the massive media monopoly of propaganda on GW.

GISS is basically random garbage. Some is biased towards cooling, much more has been biased towards warming. The adjustments are obfuscated, outdated, and in many cases just wrong. See climateaudit.org for more info.

The left will deny as long as they can. When they can’t deny, they will say that the cooling was caused by the warming.

And yet some stupied Alaskan Village is suing every energy company for global warming. I only hope they collectively stick thier tongues on flag poles.

"Emphasis on extreme scenarios may have been appropriate at one time, when the public and decision-makers were relatively unaware of the global warming issue, and energy sources such as synfuels, shale oil and tar sands were receiving strong consideration. Now, however, the need is for demonstrably objective climate forcing scenarios consistent with what is realistic under current conditions. James Hansen - 2003 Emphasis on extreme scenarios, in other words he lied but now he's telling the truth. Yeah Right
Side note: From Wikipedia descibing this quote
A minor controversy over his support for "objective" and "realistic" climate scenarios centers on what detractors call a justification for "extreme" scenarios in this quote:
Yeah, No bias there

"The total amount of cooling ranges from 0.65C up to 0.75C -- a value large enough to erase nearly all the global warming recorded over the past 100 years. Brrrr----gorrrrrre----that's a chilling look right there.
