John McCain couldn't handle the outstanding rebel-rousing introduction by Cincinnati conservative talk show host, Bill Cunningham the other day--a man the McCain Campaign had hired to introduce the Senator. Instead, Wussie McCain immediately "apologized" profusely to Obama for Cunningham's using Obama's full name over and over during the intro. This shows how "p.c." and how "wussie" John McCain is when it comes to worrying about how the left is going to perceive him. Instead of concentrating on gaining base support which he sorely needs and can't win without, he's playing to the left and saying to conservatives, "S**w you! I can win without you!".
I watched that introduction by Cunningham and there was NOTHING "nasty" or untoward in it. He didn't call the Jewish religion "a gutter religion", and he didn't call New York City "Hymietown"! As I see it, he was asking, "Do we really want a President who, if he is not a Muslim now, is going to (as Obama has said he would) 'cozy up' or "make friends" with Islamic dictators like Iran's dictator?" That was the message I got from Cunningham's words.
The ensuing flap is something McCain probably said "I could care less about", but he should care about it because it's hurting him, big-time, with conservatives who might otherwise be inclined to vote for him. Limbaugh, Hannity et al are rushing to defend one of their own, Bill Cunningham, as well they should. If McCain thinks he's "scored points" with conservatives, he needs to "think again". After McCain's shafting Cunningham following Cunningham's introduction, Cunningham said he "...would never vote for McCain" although he wouldn't vote for Hillary, either.
Besides being a nasty old man, John McCain still doesnt value the words or accolades from conservatives--even those who have endorsed him. I think conservatives should "return the cold shoulder" towards McCain in November, big-time!
McCain doesn’t like us. He has routinely shafted his conservative constituents here in Az. I was thinking of holding my nose and voting for him this fall, but the more I see him continue to snub conservatives the less likely I am to vote for him.
I think it’s about time for a mass Dim troll zotting.
“Unfortunately many on our side are just coming off as frustrated and meanspirited.”
Just how John McCain struck me since I started noticing him in the early ‘90s.
This guy in Cincinnati is famous. McCain should have known exactly what the ‘tone’ would be. He is either stupid, or he rigged the whole thing so he could attract ‘moderates’ all the while making conservatives look stupid. Make no mistake, all you McCainiacs, John McCain will pay conservatives back if elected. McCain considers all conservatives out of control loudmouths.
Really? I guess that would be anyone who does not support McCain. It’s been tried on several threads, but the moderaters are smarter than you McCainiacs.
I don’t apologize for what OTHERS do and say. I have control over myself; not OTHERS. It only shows how juvenile McCain IS.
“You can’t associate yourself with a bunch of out of control loud mouths when you’re running for the White House.”
McCain’s campaign asked the “out of control loudmouth” to introduce McCain, and told the loudmouth get the crowd fired up by giving them “red meat.” The loudmouth then proceeded to do exactly as requested by McCain’s people. Then, when the MSM complained that the loudmouth wasn’t PC, McCain threw the loudmouth under the bus.
McCain doesn’t get to have it both ways. He doesn’t get to invite a known bomb-thrower to his rally, ask him to throw bombs, and then get upset when he does.
It also doesn’t help that the talk show host in question is enormously popular in Ohio, a must-win state for McCain.
So far, McCain and his campagin staff look like a bunch of amateurs. If they don’t smarten up, he’s going to lose, and lose big.
Obviously McCain didn't know what Cunningham was going to say, and would not have approved if he did.
“Obviously McCain didn’t know what Cunningham was going to say, and would not have approved if he did.”
Obviously, which only highlights how unprofessional McCain’s campaign is so far. If they’re going to invite someone to speak at their event, it behooves them to have an idea of what he’s going to say. According to Ohio Freepers, Cunningham at the rally was exactly like Cunningham on the radio. The nature and tone of his remarks would NOT have been a surprise to a well-run campaign.
I agree.
Romney can blame his own hedging and lack of fortitude for that one. I am no fan of McCain, but this was fair play in my opinion.

ETC, you're a real SLOW learner or just a masochist. You already had your schooling on posting a vanity thread about banning people on FR. There's only a select few delegated to do any zotting around here. Let me refresh your dim memory- It isn't you.
McCain is a proven liberal-talks like one, acts like one, and certainly enjoys their company. This is a CONSERVATIVE website, not a liberal arm of the GOP. Check with JimRob if you are still confused.
SIDNEY???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ETC thinks the moderators are frightened of him. JimRob will eventually dispose of him, though, if the mods don’t do it first. There are plenty of us here who have been around a while and who financially support this site, and we shouldn’t have to have the parameters of debate here determined by a troll.
McCain will not lose Texas.

WELL, there is where his problems started.
Nobody with a name like “Sydney” can be expected to grow up normally.
“McCain will not lose Texas.”
Well then,I’m safe.
