They tried this on Goldwater in '64.  He was born in Arizona in 1909 and Arizona didn't become a state until Valentine's day 1912.  The constitution says "No person except a natural born Citizen" ... since he's never been anything but an American, and apparently he was born naturally, he's a natural born citizen.  Natural born doesn't mean he had to be in the geographical boundary of the U.S.

I'm a little concerned about your definition of 'natural born' - would that make my first-born, a cesarean baby, not natural born? Will they have to investigate medical records of the mother's or presidential candidates? LOL!
