These western states races are great for us beer drinkers, eh? Plenty of time to have a cup of joe, do the crossword, then mosey off to the beer-runner with plenty of time to plan the Q prior to the prerace events.
Back east again next week... those early starts always get confusing... can’t bbq scrambled eggs, and the coffee doesn’t usually run out until about halfway in the race...

nothing like waking to a pre-race show, the coffee brewed, the beer already chilled..
and as for beer runs,, my cruise diet is kablooie, urrr, I’m in training.. and eagerly look forward to iced buckets with beverages of local production..

All kinds of new rules. They say that red line doesn't mean squat anymore. Good, cut down on those off side stuff that I never understood. Wonder what those two lines are for behind the goalie?

My daughter’s boyfriend is a goalie. Perhaps instead of continually quizzing him about the muzzle velocity of my various sidearms, I’ll ask him to explain hockey rules to me. Perhaps.
