While the mohawk is a silly hairstyle and the mother is foolish about approving it, it’s none of the school’s damn business.
What the school is putting inside the boy’s head (mostly nonsense) is more alarming than what the barber did to the outside of it.
Amen!! Big brother is everywhere meddling in our lives. Behold the Twilight Zone of Liberal Insanity!
This is a charter school, so ( unlike the government indoctrination camps) the mom is not under police threat to send her son there. If the charter school was clear about the rules before enrollment then the mom should abide by them.
Not in a charter.
My great nephews go to a charter not far from Parma. They are using the same curriculum that most homeschooling parents use. Like Saxon for Math.
The mom agreed to let the administration dictate the rules when she signed the contract to get her son in. There are waiting lists for those spots. Someone else will come and follow the rules. And be d!mn glad to be out of Cleveland Public. Cleveland proper borders Parma.
You’re right. Our sons have never had mohawks, but many other children do. If this boy went to school wearing a dress, not only would it be considered acceptable, the school would probably plan lessons about tolerating it.
