John McCain apologized Tuesday for disparaging comments about Barack Obama made by talk radio host Bill Cunningham at a McCain campaign rally in Cincinnati. Cunningham, a radio host at WLW-AM, had warmed up the crowd at Memorial Hall with comments about Obama and Hillary Clinton, likening Obama to a “hack, Chicago-style” politician and saying the Illinois senator would “saddle up next to Hezbollah,” Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and North Korean leader Kim Jong Il if elected president. When McCain addressed the crowd, he apologized for the remarks. “I regret any comments that may be made about these two individuals (Obama and Clinton) who are honorable Americans,” he said. “We just have strong philosophical differences, and so I want to disassociate myself from any disparaging remarks that may have been said about them.”

I don’t know who’s party you are talking about. McCain is getting a whole lot of votes and endorsements from the Republican party.
Unless you feel that no one’s votes should count but your own.

Why couldn’t McCain have just said...isn’t that Barack’s name? Oh, it has other connotations (sp). OK Well how about all the times the press and others kept saying...George WALKER Bush? That didn’t mean anything...they were trying to make sure EVERYONE knew that “W” was a family name.
This even changed my husbands mind for good.

Name the primary where McCain took the majority of republican votes prior to having the nomination locked up.
Shoot, he barely gets 50% of Republican votes now!
He’s like Hillary - in an uncontested primary, he can usually get half the votes...
When reported this morning nobody mentioned this part. They focused on Barak Hussien Obama, Barak Hussien Obama, Barak Hussien Obama. Which I don't see a problem with. We say Hillary Rodman Clinton don't we.
McCain's apology was the politically correct thing to do but he lost this talk show host's support for it. Think he's supporting Ann Coulter's choice now.

I guess the “reaching out to conservatives” part of his campaign is over. That lasted about a week.
I'm afraid what McCain is doing by continuining to say things like this is shooting himself and the G.O.P.
Whether McCain likes it being said or not, Obama's middle name is a big deal. Obama clearly has some numverous skeletons in his closet and McCain knows it.
Bill Cunnigham is a very popular radio talk host in Cincinnati. From what I understand, he's been doing this for somewhere in the neighborhood of a quarter century.
McCain's sheepish and weasal like mentality does not bode very well for this country. If he's going to continue to act this way then I think we best get ready for four years of president Obama or president Hillary.
And believe me, that's not something I'm looking forward too.

Ah, but there’s the hope. This guy may not complete a first term. Therefore, who he cooses as VP is ultra important.
If McCain avoids the stupid name-calling, it will be that much more effective when he points this out.

There is a reason McCain is a head and have it all locked up.
I think people should deal with the reality and facts and not what is in their fairy tails.... dreaming of things that does not exist.

If McCain can’t beat that empty suit Obama, then he deserves getting beat. Right now, Obama is going against Hillary Clinton with the same views as he has. It is only a matter of likability for the dems right now among a bunch of liberal mindless robots.
Going for the general election, it’s a whole other ball game. If McCain can’t pin the twit down on the tripe Obama is pushing, he doesn’t deserve the presidency. It should be an easy deal for any republican.

McCain had the nomination locked up without taking the majority of Republican votes in any primary. Some of us feel that isn’t a strong endorsement from the voters - and you called us “commies”.
Yes, I understand he will be the nominee. I also understand, as my tagline says, the vote this fall is important.
I’m dealing with reality. Juan McCain spits in conservative faces, then sucks up to any liberal he can find. I hope you like him now, because he will NEVER be more conservative than he is right now! It is only going to get worse.
