That was good, but the absolute best rendition was done by Sandy Patty during the Statue or Liberty Centennial. I remember watching it at the folks’ house in the woods of Pennsylvania. I believe we were watching the ABC network. She sang all of the verses and each verse was sung in a higher key. It was outstanding.

That was very good...but the best Anthem rendition I’ve ever heard was an a cappella version at the opening of a Huey Lewis & The News concert in the late 1980s.
