RUSH: "In Democrat Primary, Expect a GOP Turnout; Perhaps Fueled by Clinton Dislike, Many Republicans to Vote for Obama." I understand I've got a big challenge here to try to get Republicans to change their minds on this and vote for Hillary to keep her in the race.....
"According to polling, as well as anecdotal evidence, an unusually large number of Republicans and independents may cast their votes in the Democratic contest next week, a prospect that could tip the outcome of what polls show is now a tight race.
I know I'm fighting an uphill battle here, folks, on trying to convince you Republicans in Ohio and Texas to cross over, pimp yourselves for a day, vote for Hillary to keep this campaign going, this Uncivil War, Democrat Party. I know what's going to happen. Even if I convince you to do it -- remember what this is, this is about us winning. You have to understand, it's not about Hillary winning; it's about us winning. It's about our party winning. It's about those people losing. They've got some problems in the Democrat Party. It's not all sweetness and light over there, and we need them to continue warring with each other. We love these stories of black people claiming they've been threatened with violence or their lives because they're not supporting Obama. We want all this kind of stuff out there. We want the Clinton campaign to keep pumping out these pictures of Obama dressed up as Bin Laden. We want this kind of stuff. If Hillary loses this thing, all of that's going to come to a screeching halt. We want all the disruption in that party as possible. It's about us winning.
I know what's going to happen. Even if I persuade you to go in there, to pimp yourself for a day in Ohio and Texas next Tuesday, you're going to go in the ballot, you're going to go in the booth, and you're going to start punching the hole there for Hillary. It's sort of like Peter Sellers and Dr. Strangelove, he wanted to salute Hitler, you kept having to grab his arm to keep -- your arm is just going to be naturally tending to go away from Hillary, it's going to be a fight, because you just can't bring yourself. Never in your life would you ever have believed, A, that I would be recommending you do it, and B, that you would. I know it's going to be very difficult. I am stunned. This Clinton campaign is inept. Well, actually I'm not stunned. Actually I'm vindicated, because ever since the nineties, we've been hearing about how Hillary Clinton is the smartest woman in the world. She's inept! Everything that she has touched at the Clinton administration bombed; everything, in a policy sense or a strategic sense. This campaign of hers has been an absolute disaster. First, the attitudinal arrogance to think that it was a coronation and that she was inevitable, and then when it turned out not to be that, not knowing what to do, not having the right people in the right place.

She has got to be so mad, here the country ostensibly loved her husband, even though he never got more than 50% of the vote, apparently the country loved old Bill, and the Democrat Party is rejecting her out of hand. It's not just upsetting to Cokie Roberts and Dee Dee Myers. It's gotta be upsetting to Hillary that she is being rejected and that lug husband of hers was so loved and adored by the Democrat Party, and she isn't? You gotta understand these are not happy days. (interruption) I'm sure she does have a Rush Limbaugh doll in that room she's throwing darts at, a little voodoo room, but I'm telling you, I'm on her side here. We are trying to save this. Bill Clinton and I on the same side here in trying to continue to promote the chaos in the Democrat Party.

Rush is wrong on this one. Take her out and remove all doubt.
Furthermore, her shenangins are only serving to make Obama look good.
Rush really screwed the pouch in this election season, he dropped his percentage of “being right” substantially for being wrong on his approach to many issue. This latest one about telling Republicans in Texas and Ohio is really dumb. If enough Republicans cross over and vote for her in these two states to give her a big margin victories not only she will survive but she will win the nomination without the fight at the convention.
What is he talking about “us winning”?
I heard Detectives found traces of Viagra and Oxycotin on the Daggers found in McCain’s back.
I will not vote for her, Obama maybe but the beast, No Way!
I may vote for Hillary just to punish Obama for the relentless commercial blitz. I have never been so sick of a commercial as I am now.
Hillary Rotten Clinton "Her Thighness" and her husband will swirl down into the cesspool of history...
....of course....if she actually manages to lay claim to the WH -- then all hell will break loose.
No Way! I would never vote for that worthless, evil socialist braindead, tree-hugging, idiot. Never.
I will not vote for her, Obama maybe but the beast, No Way!
Bury the Beeotch. You have a Clinton on the ropes, go for the knockout.
She’ll still be divisive. Even more so as a loser.
I suspect that almost all Repubs would never punch a ballot for Hillary .... but that said — I do hope that the Democratics continue to fight this Hillary v Obama battle all ther way to the convention. The Obama supporters hate Hillary’s guts ... and I’d like that to continue for many more months.
I think you, and Rush, are placing too much faith in the democratic party voters.
They might be mad at Billary for a day or so but then they'll suck it up and pretend the troubles never happened....not unlike the same 'rats who spent eight years telling us how John McCain was the "good" republican are now falling all over themselves to demonize him.
I really have lost a lot of faith in Rush this past year. He almost seems to want Hillary to get elected. And I know he'd deny this, but I've seen several 'conservative' news and opinion sites, including National Review, admit that their revenues go up when a Democrat is in office.
I'm starting to think that Rush has dollar signs in his eyes and sees eight years of Clinton as a way to feather his nest some more.
No dice El Rushbo. I’m pimping myself here in Cincinnati and voting for the Obamamessiah. The sooner we kill any possibility of a Clinton ever living in the White House again, the better off this country is.
Slay her dream - end our nightmare!
Nope, the longer the uncertainty, the more the Rats fight. Even better that she should steal the nomination from Barry O. Black America will never trust the DLC Rats (the only electable ones) ever again.
Another thing occurs to me lately. We've been focused on how the African-American voters will get severely P.O.'ed if Hillary wins, have we considered how her base will separate itself from the leftwardmost wing of the Rat party if he wins dirty? The only way to make sure that there is some sort of nastiness at their convention is to keep both of them alive to get there.
I'm with Rush on this one. Her defeat will be as sweet in November as it would be in March.
I think Rush is wrong here, too. I don’t want to take the chance. And with Nader entering the race, she’s lining herself up just like her old hubby.
We need to remove her from the ballot *now.*
Exactly. I strongly suspect that, if she doesn't win the nomination, she and Bill will do everything they can behind the scenes to destroy Obama in the vain hope that Hillary can then run against McCain in 2012.
I’m surprised Clinton isn’t making a major issue out of Republicans crossing over to vote for Obama just to take away the Democrat’s right to chose the best candidate.
She should be harping on how the Republicans prefer to have Obama as their opponent — which should make Democrats mad enough to vote for her to stop our dastardly plot.
It’s odd that she isn’t doing so, except that her campaign seems to be run by idiots.

Furthermore, if she loses the nomination I fully expect her and Bill to be trying to sabotage Obama behind the scenes, in the hopes that she might be able to run against McCain in 2012.
Here in Tx i just can’t bring myself to vote for either Oblama or Hellary. Not voting for McCain’t in the primary either. I wanted Thompson or Romney. Whatever happens with the ‘Rats let it be.
I'm with Rush on this one. Her defeat will be as sweet in November as it would be in March.
Bingo! This is what Rush's strategery is. I can't believe so few of us can see this.
