The daughter’s defense of the driver was quick and effective. She is a hero. She should be commended by the police and school.
F***ing reporters....
Let me know if you get an answer. Would be very interesting.
That's all right -- some homeschoolers are clearly getting a graduate course in smug self-righteousness, which more than makes up for it.
No I think it was good that the driver told the kids to stay sitting and stay calm. They all did so, except these two. They only got up when the fight started and it was really between the two girls. Remembering back to jr high though, when a fight broke out, telling kids to get back was like hearding cats. We used to hear “fight” and would run across the play ground to watch.
Hopefully the DA will be a sensible adult and see the consequences of charging the heroes as if they are the thuggish brats. The brats really endangered the safety of all on that bus, and to charge the driver and the driver's daughter will allow or encourage such misbehavior.
The police seem to have endangered nit just the students in that district but in ALL districts with these atrocious charges.
Once again, the daughter did the RIGHT thing! Hooray for her!
It’s a pity that your father never taught you to stand up for your family if they are being physically assaulted.
Morgana, I don’t know what to say to you. I don’t trust easily but some of your posts...., you just have to do what works best for you but if you intrust her care with others then you need to support their decisions. If this had been my daughter I would have made her apologize to the bus driver, fixed her phone with 4 numbers...mine, dad’s, the preachers and 911 and rode the bus with her a few times.
I think the bus driver didn't handle it very well...she backed herself into a corner and couldn't get out...
the girl appears to me to be a typical valley girl who probably always got her way at home...
but what I LOVE is the dtr coming up and defending her mom......absolutely heroic..
I see at the end 3 or 4 kids stayed on the bus, and one went to see if the bus driver is okay.....so there is hope ...
the bus driver had asked for help and she didn't get it ......
I went to an old fashioned grade school and the last thing in the world you would want is for them to call your mother....your mother and father just about always backed the teacher....the less your mom and dad knew about what you did at school, the better.....
The driver didn't take the phone.
Taylor repeatedly yelled at Sullivan to "stop touching me" and called her mother on her cell phone.
Sullivan said she was calling police.
The altercation escalated when Taylor handed Sullivan her phone to speak with her mother, and Sullivan tossed the phone aside.
the dtr sat there on her hands for a long time listening to the verbal abuse from that strung out looney.....
BINGO!
I could be wrong but it looks like the bus driver made the first move on the student. Then all hell broke loose. 4 will be charged including the driver...I say good!
I say all school bus drivers ought to go on strike until charges are dropped against the bus driver and her daughter. Let moms/dads who say “good” haul their little darlins around awhile.
I have to disagree after watching the video over and over...The teen who started the ruckus certainly needs to be suspended from riding the bus and from attending class.. Apparently she was on the phone with her mom and wanted to get off at a certain stop. That, usually in the past has not been a problem...The problem is the student lied to the driver about her name. Generally here, the driver doesn’t put up a fuss on where a student gets dropped off. The driver and believe me we are desperate to hire anyone who will apply for bus drivers here. (I certainly wouldn’t want the job in this day and age.) The driver should have called this in if she felt there was a problem rather than turning it into a total brawl first. The driver also crossed the line here along with her own daughter.. They are all guilty here as far as I can determine. I say charge em all and make an example!
