This will only fly in the pork chop counties north of Ocala.

Its amazing how the pork choppers seem to think they still run the state. Unless they have a cattle ranch of their own, they don't.

I can see this opening up the door for "ethnic heritage" license plates.

..well, I guess if we are talking about Florida and heritage, folks won't object if others want this license plate?

It would certainly be better and more appropriate than a lot of stuff that comes out of the statehouse.

I hope they get it passed....I had a g-grandfather enlisted from Monticello (jefferson county)...I never thought that in my lifetime there would be such an effort to eradicate the history of the CSA....the demands will only get worse from the black “victimhood” crowd and their supporters....meanwhile black social structures are crumbling.

It will never pass.
This being a election year, it’s best not to even bring it up for a vote.............Very Bad Timing

I refuse to pay extra for a license plate. The money raised goes in the general fund in spite of what they tell us.

While not opposed to the tags, I have to say that “It’s a part of our history, whether we like it or not,” is a pretty weak reason to commemorate something. Lots of things were part of our history that shouldn’t be on license plates.
