Ah. The Pacers.
If they aren’t thugs, they certainly hang out with them.
These guys should keep their minds on the game, instead of on playin’.

This franchise has been going down the tubes since the Artest incident. Time to clean house, from the top down.
I love Larry, but he’s got to go. A new owner might not be a bad idea either.

Agreed 110%! The Pacer thugs are a disgrace to the people of Indiana and our basketball tradition. Maybe this time Larry Bird will get the message.

The Pacers sound like the NBA version of the Cincinnati Bengals.

I don’t think Larry will get the message. He’s making too much money! Why? I don’t know.

Replace the team name in the headline with any other NBA franchise and it wouldn’t come as a surprise. The big surprise is that anyone still pays money to see these thugs play “basketball.”

Unfortunately, you’re right. I’d like to see a coach, with some b@!!$, bench some of these guys. Take some losses. At least you’d have the support of the fans. But, Larry and Donny would never let that happen.

In regard to the Pacers, not many are paying to see them anymore. It’s not hard to get a good seat at the games, for those who want to go, that is.
I feel sorry for the kids who love the game. They have fewer and fewer players to look up to.

couldn’t agree more with both of your thoughts. the nba has been thug oriented for quite a while and the basketball teamwork the ‘69-70 knicks or the ‘80s celtics had would be laughed at by these tatooed kids.

The 93.1 FM thing is very recent, if I’m not mistaken.

Are they still using the same voice (Chuck Riley)for the IDs?

His voice has been the one they’ve used since the late ‘60s. bless his heart.

I know it’s way off topic, but Jeff Smulyan at one time owned a really small station in Indy. Had Lou Sherman, once a biggie, on WFBM, and another Indy guy, doing talk.

Station tanked and became WBRI...Bible Radio Indianapolis.

Smulyan fired Sherman, and the other guy...Dave Letterman.
