I haven’t been skiing for quite a few years, unfortunitely. :(
Have to find someone to drive up up there again. :)
There have been so many fires aready around here that I get
alerts every day on the Weatherbug. There was a huge one
near Snyder evidentally and one down by Crane. Our grass is
just like tissue and heaven help if anyone threw a match
over the fence!

Oh no!!!!!! Severe wind is bad enough without adding fire watch! Make sure you have the bare necessities, plus most important papers, in a bag to evacuate. Pet carrier at the door. Forewarned is forearmed!! And preplan your evacuation route. 10 miles isn’t much in a wind storm.
With everything thought out ahead of time, grab and run if necessary. And if you are ready, the need seems to lessen. *HUGS*

a bit? I saw my first iris bloom this morning before our
high winds whipped the poor little thing to pieces! :(
This is so cool! I was born there 57 years ago. Then was promptly moved to Hawaii. Mom said the Corpsman scared her to death; big man tossing her 5 pound baby around like a football. LOL!! Obviously, I survived.

Our weather has been weird lately.
Yesterday was in the 30’s and humid. Most of the snow melted but not some of the ice.
Today it rained, and now it’s real cold and snowing again.
...go figure. :D
