Viguerie WANTS Republicans to lose, he WANTS to turn the entire country over to the Democrats, putting his ego ahead of the County.

Here it is from 2006:

The show must not go on (2006)

By Richard A. Viguerie

“Conservatives are as angry as I have seen them in my nearly five decades in politics. Right now, I would guess that 40 percent of conservatives are ambivalent about the November election or want the Republicans to lose. But a Republican loss of one or both houses of Congress would turn power over to the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Dare we risk such an outcome?

And it may take a Republican defeat to bring about a complete change in the GOP leadership in Washington. Without such a change, real conservatives will never come to power.”

Got a problem with that?

And very soon, we will see replies on this thread which I call “The Abusive Husband Mantra.” It is some variant of, ‘If you don’t vote republican, we will have a marxist in the White House. It will be your fault....’
Probably been posted before I had a chance to get this out.

I think you are the first to bring it up.

Unfortunately the Abusive Husband Mantra still exists here...the problem is that the espousers of the AHM are the real problem...and why we get RINOs all the time

LOL! They’ll be along shortly to screech at us. We should offer an award for the most imaginative personal attack. One deranged Freeper told me I was personally responsible for the next terrorist attack, one he hoped involved me and my family being injured or killed. He gets points for originality.

Let’s see, then there’s the “we’re all gonna be nuked right after we’re forced to convert to Islam” hyperventilating. That’s always amusing. And yet we’re called childish.

I will work as hard as I can to get conservatives elected downticket. But I’ve held my nose for the last time.

I noted that in my post #19. I didn’t note that we came close in post #15. Billva, you stopped short of saying that we brought this whole thing onto ourselves. But it was close, mighty close.

It IS the fault of the republican party for giving conservatives empty promises and outright backstabs that we are looking for true conservatives. We have been lied to and manipulated long enough.

Tom Coburn already endorsed McCain.

It’s time for other conservatives to smell reality, before they will have to smell President Obama.

How true. Speaking of being manipulated, google McCain’s “Reform Institute” and “open primaries.” This conspiracy’s a fact, not a theory.

Oh for crying out loud, ‘President Obama’ ‘president Hillary’ bla bla bla. Look, here’s the real issue, as spelled by by evil arch-dirtbag Quigley-

“The chief problem of American political life...has been how to make the two Congressional parties more national and international. The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.”

~Carroll Quigley, ‘Tragedy and Hope’

Let them, they won’t change my mind. I’m tired of having politicans begging for my help then stabbing me in the back. I can name quite a few so called conservatives that played the game described in the article and I’m fracking tired of dealing with it.

I no longer help campaigns for free. They want my help getting the gun vote, they can pay for the privledge of my assistance. I interview the candidate and I get their promises in writing. As many here know, I am one of the most staunch 2nd Amendment people around. I have a zero tolorance policy in regards to my 2nd Amendment rights and ANY compromise on that issue turns me completely off from a candidate.

I’m not happy with any of the presidential candidates that are out there now. All of them are willing to compromise my rights away and not a single one deserves to sit his or her ass in the chair in the oval office.

Frankly, as of late, politicans disgust me.

Mike

"They can't win without us"

Who can't win? The moderate, either a moderate pub or a moderate dem, will win.

The loser is the far left and the far right.

Do you really consider Obama moderate? I admit, he has not said much. However, allot of what he has said sound pretty radical.

You can have all the fancy theories you want, but if it’s not based on reality, is no better, than if I expounded for a couple of pages about my theory that the moon is made of green cheese.

Reality is that we have a choice between McCain and Obama. McCain may leave a lot to be desired, but Obama with a Dem Congress will literally destroy the country and endanger our lives. Obama is a terrorist sympathizer socialist. Obama and the Dem Congress, which we already have and the majority will increase, are a clear and present danger to the country.

Real conservatives care about the country.

So which conservative should I vote for.

Mccain is no conservative so that leaves him out.

All you left wing and right wing extremists need to form up an alliance to defeat the centrists. If you need presidential candidate, Ron Paul is available.
