Clinton Turns From Anger To Sarcasm

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – On Saturday, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton showed her angry side, admonishing Senator Barack Obama for a campaign mailing that she called misleading.

On Sunday, before a rally of several thousand, she added a heavy dose of sarcasm.

“Now I could stand up here and say, let’s get everybody together, let’s get unified the sky will open, the light will come down, celestial choirs will be singing,” she said, to a smattering of giggles. “And everyone will know we should do the right thing, and the world will be perfect.”

"... a light will shine through that window, a beam of light will come down upon you, you will experience an epiphany ... and you will suddenly realize that you must go to the polls and vote for Obama" - Barack Obama Lebanon, New Hampshire. January 7, 2008.

Can we make her an honorary Freeper?
Perhaps Ann Coulter is slipping her material.

To little to late for Hillary. She should of never agreed to play kissyface at the last two debates because it only helped Obama. She needed to come out swinging and keep swinging until there is blood, and then keep swinging some more.

Snarkiness is not a healthy sign for her campaign.

There's a reason why Michael Musto isn't one of America's best-loved social commentators.

Did she say...”maybe I’ve just lived a little LONGED.”

And she used the Black dialect again. She’s close to the edge.

The funniest part of hillary’s meltdown is that even the RATS who annointed her their queen now have to admit what a horrible person she is. With her public tantrums, who cares about the TV writer’s strike?

It’s not a repeat thread, this one contains a link to the speech which Hillary is referring to.

The sooner the Clinton’s crackup and are exposed for the slime they are the sooner they will be gone we will have time to bring out the truth about Obama

I hope this happens.

I think Clinton may pull TX and OH out, albeit by small margins. That would be my best case scenario. Then Clinton is rejuvenated all the way through to at least the end of May if not to the convention where they can then fight it out while McCain, hopefully, romps into November.

Sarcasm: the anger of the weak.

It depends on the context in which it is used.

Hillary has to hit Obama and while I’m not sure this is the most effective way it is a step in the right direction. One can not win what they don’t fight for and those who say negative campaigning does not work are fools. The thing about negative campaigning is that one must have credibility to carry it out. One can not be the black pot calling the kettle black.

What Hillary needs to do is two pronged. First I’d release issue ads detailing what she sees as her accomplishments and evidence of her strength and experience. The next prong is to release ads casting doubt on Obama’s credibility because he is a man on a magic carpet and the surest way to send in into a tailspin is to pull that carpet out from under him.

This is all good for us. The best possible case is to have Hillary win the nomination in a squeaker with the sense she did it by being mean spirited and underhanded. There is some severe angst building between Obama and Hillary supporters. I had the opportunity to sit on the plane beside a John Edwards supporter. She was a nice young college girl from Maryland with a sister who works for Peta in Norfolk. She clearly had a distaste for Obama. She was hoping Edwards would get a VP nod. (Don’t we all wish as much? lol) I think there are some very ill winds a blowing for the left going into this election. Many Hillary supporters are looking at John McCain as the alternative to Obama who they find ridiculous. All this could be for naught because what one says in a primary battle does not necessarily translate into votes in the general election. It appears though that the Democrats though more excited may be even more fragmented than the GOP was when we first realized that we had awoke from the primary binge with the primary nominee consort by the name of John McCain.

We all wondered a bit “how did this happen?”. However we all can agree that what we can not have happen is an Obama or Clinton Presidency. It is everything that they, Clinton and Obama, agree on that will be their downfall. They are strapping on the lead boots of liberalism with big grins and fighting each other each trudging along with a kaplunk- kaplunk as they rush as quickly as possible to the pier to jump into the general election river.

If Hillary were as smart she’d step back and let Obama drown in the unreality of his own hope. Her problem is that she has no high ground from where to preach and is left waving her hand like a little girl saying “I am relevant, look at me”.

If by "issue" you mean "lying" then this first step might be possible.
