No, it hasn't been significant. It has been measurable, but they aren't the same thing. There has been no practical consequence to human beings of any climate change in recent times. The last climatic event of any real importance to us was the little ice age hundreds of years ago, and even that wouldn't matter today, since tech and crops have changed.

The rational managed response to climate is to do nothing. Measure, observe, learn, certainly. But that it is quite completely all. The rest is all pointless hysteria and junk science, and I know the science involved in detail when I say that.

Those who have died from the increase in severe weather might disagree as to whether it is significant, were they here to do so.
