Bravo!
GM and the free market are actually cranking out improvements to the so-called crisis. It does no harm, other than jacking up the price of vehicles, but it's concrete action, not whining.
Now if Al Bore would just start cranking out real solutions, instead of endless BS...

good for him. And I’m glad to see GM is smart enough to build cars for the enviornmentalist nutjobs. As they say in the car business-”they’res an a$$ for every seat”

There is absolutely nothing wrong with building “environmentally friendly” vehicles. If there is a market for them, they will sell. The problem occurs when the left tries to force them on us, like it or not.

I don’t care about environmentally friendly, but fuel efficient is great at is means I spend less money on energy AND it means less money going to governments that hate us.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with building environmentally friendly vehicles. If there is a market for them, they will sell. The problem occurs when the left tries to force them on us, like it or not.I will expand on that. "Forcing them" on us is making sure we have no access to an alternative.
For example, the cost of 6 airbags in a car increases the cost of the vehicle by what entire cars used to cost a couple of decades ago.
That is the abuse of power and criminal exercise of delegated powers.
As long as it's a choice (as the promised us in the 50s with seatbelts), free people can manage their own risks; and deal with their personal choices.

I couldn’t be happier that someone in a position of meaningful corporate power finally dared to utter the truth. I think these global warming nutjobs should go interview the 110,000,000 Chinese who were stranded as a result of the worst snow storms in Chicom history. Then when they are done, they should go to the Mideast which has been suffering the coldest winter sinc b.c. became a.d. And after all that they can come back to the USA to Wisconsin, Michigan and the rest of the midwest which suffered the worst winter on record, receiving the greatest snowfalls in recorded history.

The outrage underscores the truth beautifully. That he still champions "solutions" to the manufactured controversy is irrelevant. It is bad enough that the "solutions" do not attack capitalism - clearly unacceptable. Those darn rich folk will still make money and "subjugate" the people and mother earth. The turd-world needs subsidies! Corporations need to pay! The bourgeois need to be taxed, and their activities regulated For The Common Good ™.
Add to that the fact that he is not a True Believer ™, but instead is a blaspheming denier. Not as bad as an apostate, but his eco-soul is just as lost, and he risks leading just as many astray from the divine path of Gaea.
Good Deeds are not sufficient to secure our collective path to utopia.

Too late, global warming has been supplanted by Global Climate Change ™. Any bad
weather climate is proof that certain anthropogenic activities
anger the divine deity are responsible for upsetting the natural balance of utopia. Any deviation from the mean of observations over an arbitrary time-period is attributable to capitalistic activities.
If it is too hot, we blame Global Climate Change ™. If it is too cold, we now too can blame Global Climate Change ™. Too rainy? Too dry? Increase incidence of cancer? Poor crop yields? Mud slides? Forest fires? Animal extinction? War? Poverty? Locusts? Diseases on livestock? Blame Global Climate Change ™. They gave up one faith and replaced it with another.
