Didn’t I read he was born in Hawaii?

That would mean if he was a few years older he would not be able to be President... But is was post-statehood I am sure.

Have you read this at all?

Just an interesting tidbit my mind is holding...LOL

I haven’t, Joy. I did read somewhere that he lived there with his grandparents...and that he underplays their roles in his life, calling them “white folks.”

I don’t like the fellow much.

Yes, he was born in Hawaii, his mother was 18, an American studying there, a self-proclaimed “atheist” involved in radical politics. His Father was Kenyan and older. Apparently they were not legally married at the time of his birth (due to Father’s previous marriage to a Kenyan woman). Father skipped out age two, mother remarried a Muslim who took them to his country, Indonesia. This is where there’s always a gap of several years in Obama’s story, then suddenly he’s with grandparents. His mother was present at his wedding to Michelle, but I don’t know what ever happened to either father. Not exactly a traditional, or even “blended” American family. Pretty bizarre influences on the guy from day one.
