The burning of oil and other fossil fuels is contributing to the dangerous accumulation of greenhouse gases in the earth's atmosphere, altering our climate with the potential for major social, economic and political upheaval. Hmmm, so McCain is adopting Obama's view on this. Just reaching out to the other side I guess.

To me his stand on the global warming hysteria is at or near the top in importance.
Accepting the green’s and UN’s version of this possibly non-phenomenon would lead us straight to socialism and world government. We would be saddled with increased costs in every aspect of our lives as well as a huge loss in personal freedoms and sovereignity.
We need to fight this tooth and nail, just like we did with illegal immigration
