I live in Iowa and have a lot of friends in Minnesota. None that were affected directly by this tragedy but believe me, I get it. I’ve prayed for the families and the hurt ones. That’s why MetMom pinged her list. Also - and this is just a theory - because of a particular poster who does try to promote homeschooling because of this sort of incident - which I would not do. I believe MM wanted to let the nice normal homeschoolers on her list see these threads so that if someone did come and try to exploit them we’d be able to counter that.
Thanks for the explanation. I have no bone to pick with homeschoolers. I just don’t want the focus to get shifted away from the important topic here - illegals and the damage they are doing to our great country.
I encourage everyone to contact their state legislators today and hammer the point home. McCain needs to contacted on this subject too. (I know, I know, probably a futile exercise.) :(
