Turkey's military said on Friday it had launched a ground offensive backed by fighter jets into northern Iraq on Thursday evening to hunt down Kurdish PKK guerrillas based there.
"The Turkish Armed Forces, which attach great importance to Iraq's territorial integrity and stability, will return home in the shortest time possible after its goals have been achieved," the military's General Staff said in a statement posted on its website.

Based on Turkey’s refusal to let us use their bases as entry points to Iraq in GWII, I’d vote for sending a couple of F-22s in for a little live-fire demo against the Turkish jets that are invading the country that we now occupy.
