Poor Hillary. She can't afford to attack Obama where he's vulnerable, but she can't afford not to. Even if she does, it's likely it won't resonate with a leftist base made to order for Obama. Worse yet, it's probably too late anyway.
The irony is that if Hillary had been willing to be who she really is -- an antiwar leftist -- she'd probably be in the driver's seat right now. But her calculated and inconsistent shift to the center several years ago in anticipation of a general election created a gigantic Obama-shaped hole on the left.
Hindsight reveals that Hillary's strategy of holding herself out as the battle-tested, experienced candidate was ill-conceived. Not only was it untrue -- most of her experience was vicarious, which doesn't really count -- but the very theme of experience did not play well with a leftist base that was agitating for change, radical change, even if it had to come from a greenhorn. Hillary's claim of mature leadership just reinforced that she is part of the Washington establishment that gave us Iraq.
Even if that issue is becoming moot, its bitter memory is not. Hillary will always be damaged goods to the unforgiving antiwar left, no matter how often she pretends she was duped by a "dope" into voting for the resolution authorizing war.

After painfully reading through the whole article, you find out that weakness is that he is too leftist and he is making unrealistic promises.
Which Hillary can’t exploit.

Why does she have to be careful? She is losing.
The only way she can gain steam is to make him look like a complete fool.
She could do that easily.
She has to be aggressive and go after him.
She’s already done... and I’m glad. Rush and company can turn toward Obama, and it’s somebody new for them to beat up on..... instead of dragging out all the old Clinton issues.

He may bring up issues about her and slick willy’s past that will defuse her issues. Of course, that could backfire on him, too.

Wait until he, Perhaps, wins in November. Attack him and it will be worse than the shout down Bill Cosby got when he pointed our problems in the black community. Angry cries of racism, endless Fox news appearances by Rev. Al and Jessie asking why angry racist republicans can’t leave the First African American president alone...after all its going to take at least 25 years to clean up the damage Mr. BUSH created. You will long for the days of teflon Bill Clinton.

I don’t feel sorry for Hildabeast, but her problems are over next week after Tx...then the monster Obama is unleased on us. Lord help us!

Myself, the only rational goal at this point is to get the Clintons off of the stage.

Rhetorically I hope, but with the Clintons, that Obama-shaped hole may well refer to the one being dug in Ft Macy Park.

Now Hillary can’t criticize Barack because even legitimate statements of fact about him will cause an uproar with accusations of racism and will likely backfire and cost her votes.
