Given the nature of their crime, I can’t begin to think of a punishment that might qualify as cruel or unusual. Personally, I’d begin with some barbed wire, rock salt and battery acid.
I’m thinking more along the lines of the bottom of a cave or abandoned mine, myself. Execution and burial at once.
I’m thinking a nice, dark oubliette would satisfy me.
