I can’t figure this one out.
McCain is the presumptive nominee but not there yet. If the intent of the Old Gray Whore is to take him out? Why print the article now?
Why not a few weeks ago before the primaries that garnered the delegates?
Why not in August or September when people are really paying attention.
Something is not right about all this.

some folks want to see “spoiled” product delivered in the fall, I reckun.. and don’t mind offending in the pursuit of their own agenda,, the NYT serves no one well with their own chaotic and reckless behaviour.
Oh well, I guess it is all jsut so much political theater after all, just seems more dastardly now then it used to when practiced.. all these dang 7X24 news channels and such to feed.. ya lose a lot in quality along the way.

They started now because it's clear McCain has the Republican nomination locked up now. They will coming out with one thing after another, tearing him down, from now until the election is decided, and if he wins, for four more years past that. They held off just long enough to ensure that he wasn't taken out while a decent candidate still had a chance.
McCain has just gone from being the friend of the leftist media, to being the goat. Maybe George W. Bush will finally get some peace and quiet ;).

The New York Slime has file cabinets full of dirt on McCain because the guy is a womanizing lying sleaze. That is why they endorsed him as a Republican--because they knew they could take him out at will. They will release it little by little between now and November. This was just a little taste.
Expect a Keating Five Anniversary edition and a "Who kept the drug-addicted Cindy out of jail" Sunday feature or two. Then more bimbos and lobbyists will start making appearances like ants at a picnic.
Attacking the media is one of my favorite sports, but McCain is such an easy target he will be hard to miss.
My issue with the media is not that they blast McCain, it is that they gave him a free pass for years, and they will give the Democrat nominee a free pass as well.
Conservatives shouldn't waste their credibility defending McCain. He will just burn us over and over.
