Heard the poll by local on air announcer while listening to Rush.
Full text of poll question is:
"Do you think reports that John McCain had an inappropriate relationship with a female lobbyist will affect his chances to be elected?"
Not "if true will they affect".
The Slimes smear is being carried by Clear Channel (which has NOT been a friend of Conservatives in Houston).
Poll can be seen online at this link http://www.ktrh.com/main.html

McCain could have sex with Bill Clinton at high noon in downtown Provincetown and it wouldn’t affect his chances of winning my vote.

The NYT wants it to matter....obviously.
But, conversely it has rallied the GOP behind McCain. LOL

If the reports that he had an affair turn out to be true, I think it will INCREASE support for McCain. It will settle the age issue in McCain’s favor (i.e., he’s still got what it takes).
To: weegee
This whole Slimes smear campaign will be relegated to tomorrow’s dust bins.
This is news now, but there is no credibility to it.

This would not be a “Push Poll.”
A push poll would be if McCain’s opponents called thousands of voters asking them if they would be more likely or less likely to vote for McCain if they knew he fathered and illegitimate black child.

I’m not even trying to FReep the numbers, I just wanted to point out this poll phrasing which is being repeated throughout the day unchallenged (except for here) on the fourth largest city’s ONLY news focused radio station a few weeks before the Texas primary.

And he didn’t defend his spouse from charges of being a serial rapist while at the same time lashing out at the victims. Better put some ice on that ladies.

I did the poll, still running around 60-40.

The question is biased. It assumes an inappropriate relationship took place at all. Shove the poll Houston!

It IS a push poll because it accepts the scandal as credible “enough” to not question it.
The manufactured scandal is enough to question whether he is electable. Truth went out the window.
And the station is beating the drum that it IS a factor in the presidential race.
It is a push poll.

The Democrats are running two DINOS (Democrats in Name Only), they are out and out SOCIALISTS. Obama is to the Left of Bernie Sanders (S) in his voting record.
