Evangelicals aren’t supposed to go to Hooters?

Oh good grief.
It’s not going to shock the “armices of evangelical conservatives” who remember that the Southern Baptists held their convention in Las Vegas as few years back.

They wish she was in a gay bar, it would be a plus for the Chronicle folks.

So what?
Interesting how the San Francisco Chronicle can debase Las Vegas when Janet Huckabee passes through, but when she isn’t there it’s an “economic center” or a great vacation alternative filled with “family friendly” entertainment???
Sorry poster ... try another smear topic.

That's what I say, I went to a conservative conference (FRiva Las Vegas) in Las Vegas.
Sure, if you want it wild you can find it wild but it's also a major travel destination.

Mrs Huckabee comes across much more manly than her very soft husband.
I bet she can take Bill Clinton in an arm wrestling match.

Sophisticated San Franciscans don’t know people go to Hooters for the wings and burgers. :-))
To: SmithL
I don’t get it. Why would evangelicals have a problem with las vegas (gambling, drugs, prostitution, sin city) and Hooters (objectification of women, commercialization of sex).
It’s not like Vegas and Hooters stand for anything shunned by the Bible.

Well...Jermain Taylor fared about as well as Mike did. He finished second in his fight this weekend.

I don’t understand why a woman would want to attend a middleweight prize fight after such a grueling campaign schedule. I guess she was not invited to the Caymans?

That’s what I say. “So what?” All these people need to mind their own business. She’s a nice lady. Leave her alone. Wish we could check into the lives and doings of the nosey reporters like they do everyone else. Bet it would open up many cans of worms. Go Mrs. Huckabee. I like your style and spirit.

Big mistake because of the source of her husband’s support.
