I know that’s cute and all when Rush says it, but it’s not helpful. Fact is that by any standard over the course of the country’s history anyone with a certain percentage (I’m too lazy to look it up) of American/black blood would be listed as “black” or until at least the 50s or so “colored.”

Thank you for your solidarity with bigotry.

People are people. If people are multi ethic there is ho nobility in trying to shoe horn them into alignment with one of the groups espousing the benefits of some genetic pedigree. Either for he who does it or he to whom it is done. Come to think of it there is no nobility in proudly proclaiming a pedigree under any circumstance.

Ok, cute but accurate. A book about his African origins. Oh and very, very little about his mother. He exploits his racial origin acquired from his father. Brought up in Hawaii and Indonesia. He has no legitimate connection to what could be called the Black or Colored experience.
