Let this blog post stand as an open invitation to any and all reporters and editors at the Times: If anyone there has any interest in defending the papers integrity and answering the many questions readers have about its sourcing, I have an open microphone for two hours on Saturday morning. They stopped reading when they got to the word "integrity". The NYTime'a has none.

Cindy McCain needs a redo. Shes probably an attractive woman, but you wouldnt know it the way she dresses. Its impeccable, and Im no fashion critic, but its too.....something. She always looks nervously perfect - to me she looks very neurotic.obsessive-compulsive

Absolutely. They picked him as the patsy. Now they deliver him to the Dem nominee. They were NEVER going to support a Republican.

“However, clearly the MSM wanted McCain to be the nominee and now they have achieved their objective, they want him eliminated.”
Yep. But McCain has never been long on loyalty to conservatives. Though the party above all regulars will love him more for this, there is nothing he can do to get me or my family to vote for him.

I canceled my sub to the NYT. I’ve been hating it for a while, but stuck to it because I still like the non political coverage.
But this is a deal breaker.
I don’t even know what the main motivation here was. I don’t care. The whole thing stinks no matter what the reason is.
And personally I’m disgusted by how the story is playing out on the left. I’d been getting the impression, ever since Max Clelland, that the right is just plain dirty in their tactics. It would appear that’s not the case, both sides suck in how they go about their business.

John Weaver.
This morning he called into Scarborough and categorically denied he was the source, but in the process also called McCain a stinking liar.
Lol. It would seem it’s not just Thad Cochrane that hates John.

I don’t know him from Adam . . . but . . . any guy that was the chief strategist for a campaign, gets sacked, and then goes out and starts trashing the candidate and leaking information about him (if true) . . . should NEVER be hired again. Too disloyal and too dangerous. McCain did good sacking his ass, IMO.

You are right, the fact that the NYT is hacking up McCain doesn’t change my view of him. The NYT was gonna do this to any GOP nominee to save their Messiah Obama.

This is the last time I plan on pinging this nonsense, but we'll see.

McCain added something later in the presser. "Since it was in the New York Times, I don't take it at face value." Perfect, Senator. Keep it up.
