There you'd be flat wrong. I teach history and have for 18 years. Was there ever a time when man wasn't violent? Well the Garden of Eden, but not since Caine and Able had their little set-to. But speaking strictly of secular history the simple growth in population of the planet and the expansion of technology coupled with political tyranny and the decline of moral values has led to an inescapable conclusion that indeed man is becoming much more efficient at dealing violent death on an ever growing scale.
Look, if you're an atheist, that's fine with me. Just say so and we'll agreeably agree to DISAGREE and leave it at that. Right or wrong I've lost nothing. If you're right, I still lose nothing and neither do you. But if you're wrong....well eternity is a long time to think things over. Especially since it will be too late to change your mind, then. Right, Quix?
I certainly wholesale agree.
However, citing me to Strategerist for agreement is an exercise in . . . utter futility! LOL.
I think the mere mention of my screen name sets his teeth on edge. Just a conjecture, of course.
LOL.
