For McCain, Self-Confidence on Ethics Poses Its Own Risk [McCain had an affair?]

Early in Senator John McCain’s first run for the White House eight years ago, waves of anxiety swept through his small circle of advisers.

A female lobbyist had been turning up with him at fund-raisers, in his offices and aboard a client’s corporate jet. Convinced the relationship had become romantic, some of his top advisers intervened to protect the candidate from himself — instructing staff members to block the woman’s access, privately warning her away and repeatedly confronting him, several people involved in the campaign said on the condition of anonymity.

When news organizations reported that Mr. McCain had written letters to government regulators on behalf of the lobbyist’s clients, the former campaign associates said, some aides feared for a time that attention would fall on her involvement.

Mr. McCain, 71, and the lobbyist, Vicki Iseman, 40, both say they never had a romantic relationship.

I like the denial I am hearing. McCain is a Teddy Kennedy buddy. Who knows what kind of crap the Dems know about McCain?

Rooty is starting to look like a choirboy. LOL

I don’t get it. A story about an affair where BOTH participants denied it happened?

DID ROMNEY ACTUALLY SAY “I’m directing my delegates to support Sen. McCain.”? I don’t think so, but I could be mistaken.

Actually, Romney looked simply AWFUL at that news conference, worse than I’ve ever seen him. He really needed a vacation. He must have suffered immeasurably over the decision to suspend...

Romney was put through the ringer time after time by the media. Remember the NBC hosted debate with Brian Williams? It was downright insulting the way they treated him.

McCain had affair?

You bet. It was with Charles Keating who worked at Lincoln Savings and Loan.

At that time, when confronted with the bribery allegation, Mr. Ethical's answer was: "They (US Senators) all do it!".

Obama will eat McCain up in any debate.....

"Well, what it's really about is change. Change and hope. Yes, and Hope and Change. If it weren't for Hope, there wouldn't be any Change. And with Change, you can have Hope. That's why, yes, we can Hope an Change. And we can Change for Hope. And We can work for Hope and Change. And Change will give us Hope, which we all Hope for. Etc ad nauseum..."

“All the GOP can really do at this point is have an intervention and tell the candidate that he must step aside unless he wants to torpedo the entire party, and then have a brokered convention.”

He should sue that leftist rag for libel unless they can prove their false allegations. There is far more evidence surrounding Obmas’ gay crack-smoking sex party. In Obama’s situation, there is actually and indentified eye-witness who is making the accusations.
