And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.

"Jim Robinson for President!"We would be fortunate to have such a candidate, but the first time he called someone in the opposition an asswipe, the talking heads would explode! < /bug zapper thread reference >

Dear Jim,
Please consider running for President of the United States in 2012.
Sincerely,

Howdy, fellow Texan. Just now clicked on your name and prowled around the linked site. Most interesting especially the thread about the Twin Sisters. Great gramps Bostick manned the cannon at the Battle of Bexar.

Just a little off topic and a funny tidbit...
Fred Thompson played the role of “Jim Robinson” in the HBO Movie “Barbarians at the Gate” (Jim Robinson was the head of American Express at the time of the RJR Nabisco LBO).

"We aggressively defend our God-given and first amendment guaranteed rights to free speech, free press, free religion, and freedom of association, as well as our constitutional right to control the use and content of our own personal private property....We are
conservative GOP activists dedicated to defending our rights, defending our constitution, defending our republic and defending our traditional American way of life."
Well, thats the way a lot of folks around here think, act and behave.

You, and many others are extremely grateful to JimRob, and the finest communication site on the web. He would be a greater President than another who sat in a chair with wheels.... JimRob is MY hero, as well as a hero to all who peruse this sit. Many best wishes to you, Jim, and to all who appreciate FreeRepublic.

I told him that I would vote for him, too. He told me in plain terms, “no way.” LOL!

I agree wholeheartedly! I think the greatest threat to this country is the creeping power of the Federal, State, and Local government into our lives. Any foreign enemy should be struck down with disproportionate force.

Already posted.Wael, might you allow that we might go another round, just cause the last post was put up in 2004? And, for reminder's sake?
Seems to me, that the dupliction is rather . . . timely.
Don't ya think?
Thanks. :-)

FR is a conservative website, not necessarily a Republican one. A nice reminder given the threads of late.
