Soon to be heard:

Global cooling is caused by global warming. As are: (1) unusual variations in global temperature, and (2) unusual constancy in global temperature.

I just browsed a Greenland tourism website and have discovered why there is so much concern about global warming.

From what I could see, there is absolutely nothing there other than rocks and ice and snow. On the "Things to do" list there is dogsledding, watching the musk oxen and hiking from town to town. No beaches, no para-sailing, no river rafting, no outside cafes, no nothing! I hope they have plenty of booze there because it looks like the only thing to do is to get drunk........

With that being said, they have to project a picture of Greenland melting away so as to attract scientists from all over the world to come and study the effects of global warming. Their tourist economy is totally dependent on government funded scientists........

But... but...

Human activities are releasing carbon dioxide faster than ever, while the natural processes that normally slow its build up in the atmosphere appear to be weakening. These conclusions are drawn in a new study in the early online edition of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, October 22-26. The report states that “together, these effects characterize a carbon cycle that is generating stronger-than-expected climate forcing sooner than expected.”

The ice between Canada and southwestern Greenland has reached its highest level in 15 years.

That can't be true. In his Houston Hope-a-Dope speech last night, Barack the Magic Negro said that we need his $150 billion renewable energy plan and emissions caps to stop the polar ice caps from melting.

If you recall 15 years ago was the winter of 1993. I remember it clearly because I was in Chicago and it got down to -25 for several days.
