The explicit purpose of the 9-11 commission was to find out who f**ked up and how can we improve the system. But, of course, that ain’t going to happen because it would be “devisive”. No such group is going to report anything that embarrasses anyone “important.” The implicit purpose such bipartisan groups therefore is to protect the entrenched old boy networks by not finding anything of consequence.
The Louis Freeh on the You Tube thing really illustrates this. The “Able Danger” group, had identified Mohammed Atta as being dangerous a year before the 9-11 attacks, and informed the 9-11 commission that they had been prohibited from giving this intelligence to the FBI because of Sandy Gorelich’s “wall”. This was the main intelligence failure that resulted in Al Qaeda’s successful 9-11 attack.
Why did the 9-11 commission totally ignore this in their report. Heck, they got the answer to the stated purpose of the inquiry on a silver platter. It must have been in the interest of universal harmony that what got passed on to we in the audience was fecal matter on a silver spoon, I guess.

I have to agree it does seem that democrats have
been trying to lose every war since they screwed
up vietnam and then cuba so bad.
Of course they say they support the troops but we
all know thats just disingenuous bullshit.
I would have to say that the actions of the
democrat party throughout my life time, has
ensured they would never get a vote from me, ever.
Actively working against our military, aiding the
enemy and putting our troops in more danger should
be a cause for treason.
Murtha, Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy, Kerry and Durbin
should all be frog marched.

I actually don’t mind being insulting to liberals.
If your nice and try to explain things kindly they
don’t pay attention and remain apathetic.
If you insult them that makes them a victim which
is a fuel they have depended on for their
existence.
It has the appearance that they feel very
comfortable continuing on with their Munchausen’s
Syndrome by Proxy attitude toward America.
Their historical position has accurately provided
them with the label “useful idiots”

Thanks. Actually one could say that the Senate intelligence committee hearings, which the democrats tried to turn into a circus, served its purpose to those who saw John Ashcroft tear into Jamie Gorelick, as she sat right across from him with this stupid grin. Even better was Condi Rice making a complete fool out of Democrat Staff Shyster Benveniste when he tried to get her to answer trick questions with “just answer yes or no”.
