Please allow me a dose of hardened market realism concerning Obama's landslide victory in Wisconsin. The race is over. Hillary is finished. The Clinton Restoration is over.
President Bill Clinton's political invincibility is over. Hillary's electability is over. Obama got to the far Left faster than she did. He out organized her in the precincts. He out fundraised her. He out speechified her. He out-hustled her. He out-dressed her. He out-presidentialed her. He outdid her and he outbid her for votes, one promised government check at a time.
A 15-point margin in Wisconsin is incredible. Wisconsin is a lot like Ohio except for the wacko ultra-Left Madison college population, which is even worse that Columbus's Ohio State. But there are so many campuses in Ohio that will go for Obama that it is no matter. Think faculty voters, grimly determined for a left-wing takeover of America " from the bottom up" to use the former Saul Alinsky community organizer's phrase. As goes Wisconsin, so goes Ohio.

there may not be enough time for a do-over because the case will be made at the convention. It will be messy as it doesn’t make sense not to count 2 big states.

I don't think negative ads will hurt him.
The only way to play this guy is to catch him in a lie. The silver tongue is good, but it works by initiating a large amount of trust and believability. One thin lie, properly caught and properly handled can break the hypnotic spell, and the whole thing comes crashing down.
But he is slick He knows the lie will hurt him, so he never really says anything, and never gets bolted down. He's gonna be a tough nut to crack.

One must also leave room for the appellate process, and enough time for the do-over if necessary, or take the chance on a win/lose decision. Then there is also the inevitable contesting of the Florida contest :D

I don't believe that to be true. The Clintons are not bashful. The fact that they are hitting him with silly plagiarism charges shows they really have nothing to throw, IMHO. There is no way they would have intentionally let this wave get so far out of hand.

It seems very much so. I don't think Obama was the planned recipient of the crown though. The media had all but coronated Hillary long ago, projecting that most Americans share their racist obsessions, that Obama would be rejected, and Hillary's grace and appealing charm would carry the day.
The Clinton loyalty has been enforced through fear for too many years, and I suspect many of those "loyals" found their escape clause in Obama. One taste of freedom, and they aren't likely to get close to the choker chain again.
But you assume that will do damage to him- The dems and indies don;t have much of a conservative constituency. A little party in his past won't amount to a row of pins.
Obama/Hillary, OTOH, have never met an enemy they did not want to 'get to know better' and for whom their sympathies they can barely contain.

She chronicles the 'truth of Putin's Russia'; his overriding arrogance and hypocrisy. Worse she details his ruthlessness; and the evil it is grounded in. She coolly transcribes Putin's MO for dealing with those who dissent; those who wish to challenge him. She tells of his friends; and enemies, who soon become 'former enemies'. (. . . an ongoing purge we are still witnessing as late as last week, when wealthy Russian ex-pat and enemy of Putin was found dead in his London home/fortress)
It is an ugly, fear-filled chronicle and cannot help to compare the average Russian's decision as he prepares to cast his vote on Election day. Because Putin needs 'numbers' for a credible victory; voting is mandatory and one cannot even be hospitalized without first voting or showing proof that they cast their vote. (Am reminded here - as I am throughout the book of so much of the Left's MO - of Hillary's plan to combat 'voter apathy' by compelling our electorate to vote - a voter apathy remedy she offered as casually as when claiming she will 'take profits' etc. . .Mandatory is a power word for 'change'; for both Obama and Hillary. . .
Worst of the voting experience for the Russian citizen, is of course, the voter's knowledge that there is no chance for the Leader's failure to win as he has disposed of all reasonable challengers; and knowing too well, what this 'win' poses for the future of the Russian populace. ***
Comparing our situation; of Republican's having McCain represent them and so, refusing to vote; versus a win, for Obama/Hillary. . .it seems, by conclusion, there IS no comparison. It does however, prompt me to want to vote for the man who is not a committed ideologist; no matter his Liberal prostrations - and because of this, a man, whose Presidential term cannot compare in outcome to what an authentic and committed Leftist will deliver to our Country.
Think we as Republican's better get our thumbs out of our mouths; and prepare to take what for many of us, is a detestable pill and vote for the candidate least inclined to embrace a Marxist tradition and again; one who is both able and willing to recognize our enemies; and believes in having a Military equipped to deal with ugly enemy realities. Here, IMHO, we cannot fail our Country or America's future.
WE have had Election turning points; and this is another one. We don't know how many turns we get here; but we have fair warning from our opposition. We can manage four years of McCain. . .if we choose not to; we most likely, will not recognize America if we fast forward to year 2050.
(We should never imagine that we are immune to the tragedies of injustice that others suffer in their countries around the world; whereby the most evil of government power becomes inescapable.)

I'm not so sure of that. Whatever ran up Chris Matthews' leg, has found its way out tonight. He had an Obama guy from Texas on, and he asked him pointedly and repeatedly to name one thing Obama has done in the Senate. The guy couldn't do it. Chrissy wouldn't let him up for air.
I disagree. McCain has proven himself to be unmanagable, and he has repeatedly thumbed his nose at the US Constitution and the citizens of this country, as has Hillary.
Perhaps you missed the conversation afterwards, when Matthew's other visitor asked him something like, "... to be fair to Obama, can you name one thing the whole Senate has accomplished in the last ten years."
We've finally reached the pathetic point in this country where it's "better the devil we don't know".
"Messianic" in DNC terms translates to "Apocalyptic" for the rest of society. ; )
Again, I offer that as bad as he can be (with much of his ill-will earned by his self-servance - which who knows, may be satisfied somewhat now that he is the 'big guy') - he may be more easily inclined/swayed to Repub values than those of the Opposition. Offer this because - as mentioned - despite his Liberal prostrations; McCain is no committed Leftist ideologist.
Beyond all that - most importantly and critically. . . our Military deserves a Commander-in-Chief who can and WILL respect them.
