A Bentonville High School math teacher faces two charges after being arrested in connection with inappropriate contact with students.
Melissa G. Monroe, 32 of Bella Vista, was arrested Tuesday for sexual assault in the second degree and knowingly furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Bentonville police began investigating after receiving information that Monroe had been involved in a sexual relationship with a male student, a police news release states.
Monroe is in the Benton County Jail awaiting a bond and probable-cause hearing. For full details, see Wednesdays edition of The Daily Record.
Not guilty. Maybe there was a power outage or something.
What does one expect out of Arkansas - If it is ok for Bubba to do an intern in the Oval Orifice, it must be ok for Ms Monroe to do a male high school student. Any WallyWorld fingerprints on this one?
Women looking for MEN. ;-)
From the website -
Mission Statement: “Impacting One Student at a Time.”
Freud said it was ok, the 60s sexual revolution said it was ok, and modern psychology says it is ok. Who are we to argue?
Just down the road from me-one of my best friends has kids in BHS.
Not Guilty......
“OK, boys and girls, now hear this!
“Anyone over 14 who has sex with a teacher is going to jail too....and to a different jail than the teacher! We’re fed up with this stuff, and we’d like you to stop. If you’re looking for romance, there are plenty of cute boys and girls right here in your class, and none of them are married.
Is it me or are her eyes 6 inches apart?
I never heard of any teacher/student hanky-panky, but who knows?
“Where were these women when i was in High School?”
They were in High School too, and they still are. My theory is these women never quite grow up, in their minds they are still teenagers.
She married? A little rough around the edges, but still plenty cute enough to have No Problem whatsoever finding legal adult men to jump in the sack with her. Just another messed up broad.
Not guilty.
Maybe it was just a multiplication lab she and the student were working on?
LOL, I was thinking the same thing!
Not guilty 10 years ago.

Remember that the nation's largest and most powerful left-wing power center, the National Education Association, would sweep every incident like this under the rug if they could; unless, of course, a white conservative male were somehow the offender.
Ahhh, she was just teaching sex orientation, she was making sure the student knew the differnece between boys and girls. What’s wrong with that????? hmmmm?
That sounds like a very plausible explanation. So it follows that more and more women must be feeling like that.
