“This is not good. Either a lot of GOP voters are staying home or they’re crossing over and voting for a Dem.”

The GOP nomination is already sewn up. I think the more telling turnout numbers were earlier on, say Super Tuesday. At that point it was still a race on the GOP side of the fence.

“The Republican Party had better get their act together fast and get people united AND to the polls.”

I don’t see it happening. The GOP is running an incredibly poor candidate against someone who has a charisma level approaching that of Bobby Kennedy. The only good news I see is that this election might, just might, relegate the GOP to the ashcan of history and thus allow a conservative party to emerge in it’s stead.

Correct.

That’s why the DC crackheads voted for a crackhead for Mayor over & over — Marion Barry. Because he was black AND a crackhead.

Icing on the cake would be for Hildabeast to take a fall in the Paul case on February 21. She apparently perjured herself. And, Paul's lawyers have the goods to make it stick.

Heh, this is not a house falling on her. It’s a stake slowly being driven into her heart, with each week bringing a new strike of the hammer to drive it deeper. And there’s a fat lady waiting in the wings with a bucket of water to throw on her so she’ll just melt away.

Sorry, I see it differently.

If you think losing a war and turning your life over to a bunch of socialists, well, by all means, continue your temper tantrum and refuse to vote in November.

Please spare me the “Mccain is as bad as Obama”. Obama wants to lose a war by surrender, any of you willing to tell a United States Marine that you think his or her duty is so insignificant that you refuse to vote? We have 140,000 troops in harm’s way. Not a single one of them had a vote on any amnesty or McCain-Feingold. But they WERE sent to war and one candidate wants them to lose, one does not. For anyone to say their job is so insignificant that you want to punish THEM is total irresponsibility.

It’s not the party’s job to get you to the polls. It’s YOUR duty. Go tell the Marines that you want them to lose. And THEN, stay home.

Re: I’d bet the farm that when the time comes, Bill will walk out on that stage with Chelsea, say that Hillary has lost her voice, has the flu, or has suffered an untimely attack by zombies, and he will make her concession speech for her.

LOL!

That scenario fits her to a T!

“We can elect a good Congress this time if we don’t let the ‘disdain for McClain’ attitude keep us home and keep us from voting for some damn fine candidates on our side.”

That’s my back-up plan. Government works MUCH better in times of gridlock. It’s tougher for them to foolishly spend our money! ;)

>It’s not the party’s job to get you to the polls. It’s YOUR duty.

LOL! It IS their job if they want my vote.

>Go tell the Marines that you want them to lose.
And THEN, stay home.

Tell it to my 2nd division Marine son.
He isn’t voting for McCain either.

We have different ideas on what the real enemies of America and its ideals, values, and history are, and they are not just a few ragheads.

They are 20+ million invaders occupying our land right now and preparing to vote us into the trashcan of history.

This is what needs to be addressed right now.

It is somewhat odd, I suppose, that I have two children who are younger than my 3 grandkids ...

But, these are the issues that move us. - and this is also a huge crux, or nexus if you will, of the problem.
Ignore it and it will not go away. - The GOP will.

IMO, so many who are upset that some people will refuse to hold their collective noses and vote straight R, need to relax a bit because it is also our duty to vote - or not - in the manner that we believe best serves America.

McCain supporters, for sure...

I do, however, understand your point, and thank you for your post in support of our troops. - bill

You are not kidding. Goal number one about the 2008 elections is making sure she does not get elected, and at this point it needs to be done in the primary’s because McCain ain’t going to do it in Novemeber without the conservative votes.

Actually, I don’t detect that they are all that fired up about Obama-—IF they vote, most will vote for him, of course, because he’s for “change” and “hope.” But that still won’t be where the election is won or lost. The election will be lost when people like me don’t walk the streets for McCain or man phone banks.

With the exception of foreign affairs, where he failed to appreciate the buildup of the Japanese navy, Cal was nearly perfect.

> Obama scared me to the left side of the Repub party since he’s the left of the left of the left of the Dem party.

And yet, Osamabama is to the right of Hitlery on health care — she wants to GARNISH wages.

Even my lib acquaintances are aghast at that move. They like their socialism watered down, not straight up.

Your 2nd division Marine son supports the election of Barack Obama who wants your son to lose a war?

Okay.

In this election, you’re going to have two choices, especially if you’re a military family.

1. John McCain who wants to win the war.

2. Barack Obama who promises to retreat and lose the war. He wants to pull out combat brigades, one at a time, not defending those left behind. You want your son to be the last brigade in retreat?

IF your son is in the Marines, a hardy thank you to him.

But, I have to wonder about a father who wants him to lose a war.

Supposed to be at this site: http://elections.state.wi.us/section.asp?linkid=155&locid=47
but have not been updated that I can tell.

At my polling place, we had hundreds of new registrations. Overall, more young voters than old. Obama was 2/1 over Hillary at our site. I don’t recall how McCain’s lead.

none of that matters, because conservatives need to have a temper tantrum.

What type of conservatives wants their country to be harmed by someone like Barack Obama? Do any of you realize that he has promised to pull out combat brigades, one by one...and NOT DEFEND those left behind?

The Global Tax idea is only topping to it all for the conservatives who really need to stay home and pound their feet.

Nobody promising to stay home to ‘protest’ McCain can ever explain to me how they’re willing to hand over our military to Barack Obama.

Nobody.
