If he does actually get the nomination, look for her and Bill to work behind the scenes to pull the rug out from under him in the General Election. He he doesn’t get elected, she can say “see—told ya so” and still have a shot at the nomination in 2012. I wouldn’t be surprised if they secretly helped defeat Kerry in 2004, to help clear the decks for 2008. Of course, Kerry is such a doofus, they didn’t have to work hardly at all.....

Long time ago I drove an 89 Mercury Grand Marquis with a front end problem, and it reminds me of America 2008:
A giant, exhausted, lumbering beast constantly drifting leftward.

Good Lord, I thought he’d never stop talking. He’s starting to act like Bill Clinton. blech.

It doesn’t matter. In 1776, only a minority were outraged at how Britain was treating the colonies, and only a handful of these took action. It will be the same the second time around.

I know why Castro quit in Cuba. He thinks he has a chance of running to the right of Obama and getting the nomination.

I agree that Obama will be more easily beaten in the general than will the sHrill one. When people realize what an empty suit he is, they will flood to McCain.

Obama is all hyped up feelings and hope, and it hard to sustain that hype. Particularly when it is backed by nothing at all - look at Dean. Obama has the Dean crowd for certain, but also, more. He's a lot more formadible than Dean in today's political climate.

Obama's big honeymoon is about to end: he will have to put some meat (and a price tag) on all that hope. And VDH is right-- both Obama and his wife have spent their whole lives around people who have acted like everything they said fell from God's lips.
Now they will have to start answering tough questions, as soon as he (and the media) finish putting the stake through the Hildebeast's heart.
And a well intentioned fool like Obama is much less of a danger than the slick criminality of the Clintons, which would become embedded permanently in our government.

Hes an ass-clown. A total zero. Just puking out the same 60 year old socialist pabulum in a standard black preachers cadence. This is right on the money. There is nothing new about this populist boilerplate crap he's spewing, it's just that rather than spewing it to people living lives of quiet desperation, he is speaking to a bunch of spoiled rotten brats and boomers.
It's a sad day in America when he can manipulate so many. I bet a lot of these people think they are sophisticated and can deal with the BS of an auto salesman and the plumber !!
