Waiter foils alleged attempt to drug woman on date

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Colorado Springs authorities say a waiter whisked away a woman's drink after reporting that a man slipped something into it.
Police tested the drink and said it contained a tranquilizer used to relax muscles and relieve anxiety.
Waiter Colt Haugen says the woman was away from her table when the incident occurred at a Ruby Tuesday Restaurant last month. He says when she came back, he took away her drink, gave her a new one and called police.
Fifty-six-year-old Robert Lawrence Psaty was arrested last week on suspicion of inducing someone to consume a controlled substance. Police say he met the woman through a dating service
Psaty is free on bail. He didn't return phone calls.
