Wait till they check his books...
The act of plagiarizing; taking someone’s words or ideas as if they were your own. I am not sure how this isn’t plagiarism? If he were to say, “As my good friend, Gov. Deval said....”, then I agree it isn’t plagiarism. But he didn’t and I believe that it is, in fact, plagiarism by definition.
If you or I, start doing stand-up and use Jerry Seinfeld or Richard Pryor’s words, we would find out very quickly it was plagiarism in no uncertain terms, from a lawyer near us. :)
Considering that the whole point was to answer criticism that Obama is nothing but words, to answer in someone elses words simply takes away the point he was making.
DROWNING woman grasping at straws !! Remember Vince Foster !!
It’s not that it’s plagerism, it’s that he doesn’t have an independent thought.
He’s not original. His ideas are someone else’s ideas.
Of course, this distracts from Hillary trying to point out that he doesn’t have any plans either, just words.
And his “just words” riff is an insult to the people who said the words that he quotes, but then actually DID something to accomplish what they said they wanted.
Martin Luther King’s “I have a Dream” would really be “just words” if not for where he gave that speech, and what he did with his life.
Obama's campaign manager, David Axelrod, was also Patrick's campaign manager and Obama and Patrick are supposedly (per the MSM) friends and talk all the time. And maybe Axelrod said, 'Hey use this, we wrote it for Patrick.'
But if you want to look at a case of 'Political Plagiarism' look no further than Pony Boy Edward's 'Hope Is On The Way' line in 2004. That was Dick Cheney's catch phrase on the stump back in 2000. Where was the outrage then????
((((( crickets )))))
I'm now going to bathe in Lye for 'defending' Obama.
Given the empty content of what Obama has to say, plagiarism for him would be the equivalent of stealing a handful of styrofoam peanuts...of course this line is plagiarized from one of the guys at imao.us...
