Reciting a politicians record is NOT an “attack” and it’s NOT “unfair”!

We’re taking issue with his positions on various, significant policies.

Having said that, I’ll vote for McCain because the Dem’s are an anathma to America.

No one said it was unfair, but equal time to the good points are in need of equal time as well, and it seems like many refuse to hear the good.

INSANITY DEF:"Traditionally, insanity or madness is the behaviour whereby a person flouts societal norms (such as parental authority) and becomes a danger to himself and others. Greek tragedies and Shakespeare often refers to madness in this sense. Psychologically, it is a general popular and legal term defining behaviour influenced by mental instability. It is defined by the Merriam-Webster dictionary as a deranged state of the mind or lack of understanding

I think there is insanity in this over the top attack on mcCain. In this case the "societal norm" here is the reality of US politics.Us politics is like NASCAR , it only turns left, that's just the way it is

The deranged state of mind is evident in very bad choices being displayed such as "writing in Elvis" (or whoever) or "sitting it out"

the lack of understanding is perpetuated by believing everyone else has, or should have their conservative views

Exactly, short on tolerance and reflection.

The funny thing is nobody has heard Sean Hannity talking about the size and scope of the federal government, which was THE core conservative message of Ronald Reagan. Hannity applauded deficit spending, made excuses for the ‘No Child Left Behind Act’ and pretends now that Reagan would oppose an amnesty bill. (Reagan supported and signed an amnesty bill.)

Q: Why is McCain the same as any other member of the Democrat Party?

A: Because McCain has to PAY for volunteers rather than have volunteers who actually volunteer.

Are you a vet? WHAT THE HELL does his flying record have to do with establishing him as a "communist" as you are so anxious to loosely and recklessly characterize him?

For that matter, are you such a Useful Idiot that you buy into this Manchurian Candidate crap? As for this hatchetjob PDF file, how can any sane veteran compare a grunt's time on the ground to air time in combat? Do you have any idea what those pilots faced -- the complexity of the threats, including the missile defenses, the ground fire, the low level terrain they had to avoid at 500 knots, the weather, the complexity of their equipment, the complexity of navigation, the complexity of the onboard weapons, etc. etc.???

But the part that INFURIATES me more than anything is the lie about his "collaboration with the enemy". When a man reaches his breaking point, a point every man has, and every soldier knows he has, it's not a dishonorable COLLABORATION. You resist to the BEST OF YOUR ABILITY, and then give them as little as you can to SURVIVE. Hell, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed only lasted seconds with a relatively mild technique called "waterboarding"; how long could you last as they dropped you several feet onto a concrete floor from up high with your arms tied behind your back?

Considering he was there for FIVE AND A HALF YEARS, and in incredible pain and duress with no end in sight, I think he did pretty damned well. When he was two years into his captivity, the Commies (the real ones, not just a flowery pejorative) offered his release -- but knowing it would be a propaganda victory for them, and seen as favoritism given his family heritage, he refused unless they would agree to releasing all the prisoners, knowing they wouldn't and it would mean severe repercussions for him (and it did, for four more years). Now THAT is courage.

This smear attempt by that nutcase Jerry Kiley is disgraceful on so many levels -- it's beneath contempt. It's as though they lump him in with that infamously corrupt "hero" John F'n Kerry, who was derailed by the Swiftboat Vets for the Truth (an organization I contributed to).

HOUSTON (Reuters) - Former President George H.W. Bush urged disgruntled conservatives on Monday to rally around John McCain, calling their criticism of the Republican presidential front-runner "grossly unfair."

Not surprising, coming from the "Read my Lips: NO NEW TAXES" liar.
