With a Mac, I can run as many Windows virtual machines as I want—without having to reboot to switch between them (VMWare Fusion or Parallels.) And Windows on a VM reboots far more quickly than it does natively. And I can move my Windows VM around on an external drive, and run it anyware I have access to a Mac.

And of course, I can use my Mac software also. It’s not just the best of both worlds, it’s better than having a single native Windows installation. There’s really no good reason to run windows as the native host OS anymore.

Super for you! On my Windows PC I don't have to run ANY OS X virtual machines, because my Windows PC runs everything I need!

You can do the same on a PC. The top of the line PC easily stomps the best Mac. :-) Macs have improved but they still have one key defect. They are made by Apple.

I don’t think most of us need this functionality.

You're not seriously going to contend that Windows runs faster under a VM environment than natively hosted are you?

I find it interesting that the Apple cultists like to mention with every other breath how an OS that they hate soooo much can be run under VM on their hardware platform. Are they getting a little insecure?
