Oh hell yeah.
Have you ever eaten a ripe peach?
Super for you! On my Windows PC I don't have to run ANY OS X virtual machines, because my Windows PC runs everything I need!
Interesting piece of info....if you do not already know concerning Microsoft.
Windows is actually a MAC OS clone stolen by Bill Gates and Co. years ago during a meeting with Apple execs. This was shown in a movie years ago and kinda and intersting tidbit for those who have not followed Windows history (not implying you have not).
You can do the same on a PC. The top of the line PC easily stomps the best Mac. :-) Macs have improved but they still have one key defect. They are made by Apple.
Oh really?
How'd I do that?
Not only Atari but OS/2 people are still around. It’s called eComStation now.
It’s still better than any version of Windows. And any version of Mac.
I also think that this election cycle is showing that you can't always make the case that being Republican automatically equates to being conservative. Again, it's just too broad a generalization.
My question was meant to get you to reflect how stupid yours was. If you’ve been overseas you know Mercedes market share isn’t small. Macs still suck and their market share shows it.
Who cars about how Mac owners are?
As a sadly and deeply experienced PC user who has observed, I can say Macs are better.
I still use Lotus 1-2-3 and Quatro pro. I did get rid of volkswriter and supercalc.
I don’t often agree with Maddox, but he sure can spin a great rant.
The key difference I’ve found is that Mac users really don’t know much about Computers. They don’t know how they work and they don’t care and of course that is fine but you can’t expect to have a technical conversation with them which is much like having a political conversation with them because once you get past the gui of pretty pictures they get lost.
In my house we have 4 macs and 2 pc’s. I’m wanting another Mac and wouldn’t mind another pc also.
Well!
My IBM PC Jr. had so many “side cars”, I needed a “wide load” permit to move it.
Drink up my minions!
You got that right. When I was in the Army they only purchased Windows based machines, so I have plenty of years experience from Windows 3.1 up through XP. I also was assigned to the Army Research Laboratory for three years where all the computing was done on Silicon Graphics machines running IRIX.
I'll take a Mac running OSX over anything else any day. In fact, since my retirement from the Army, I have worked at home and my employer supplied me with a Gateway laptop running XP. I fought with that piece of crap for three years until I finally purchased my own MacBook Pro. Heaven. I can run Mac OSX, Windows and IRIX if I want. I have XP installed but have never found a reason to use it other than to watch MLB.TV games while I work.
Bottom line is I can use any of them if I have to, but if I get to choose its Mac because they just work...pleasantly.
As for others, I don't really give a flaming F what you like or use. None of my business. To each their own. But considering the amount of money Microsoft and Bill Gates contribute to Planned Parenthood, United Nations Population Control (read that abortion) and other liberal causes, I wouldn't necessarily only paint one product or the other with the liberal label. Pick your liberal poison.
You are right, they have something to be snobby about. The twirling Mac jewelry keeps you spellbound.
For you PC users, Mac uses a spinning beach ball instead of an hour glass. PC users, remember the old days when an hour glass turned over and over as you waited for a program to process information.
On a Mac, they call that the "beach ball of death." On a PC, we call the hour glass "so yesterday."
Go ahead, enjoy your trance. Stare directly at that spinning beach ball and keep convincing yourself you have a better machine (You are getting sleepy, you are getting sleepy...you are now delusional).
I don’t appreciate you calling me a snob!
Now, can you please pass the Grey Poupon?
