Bill Clinton's true colors
Red State ^ | Feb. 18, 2008 | Staff

Stay classy, Slick Willie:

At a later event today in Steubenville, OH, Bill Clinton snapped hard at an anti-abortion protestor who had interrupted him.

“I gave you the answer. We disagree with you," Clinton said. "You wanna criminalize women and their doctors and we disagree... I reduced abortion… Tell the truth, tell the truth… If you were really pro-life, if you were really pro-life, you would want to put every doctor and every mother as an accessory to murder in prison. And you won’t say you wanna do that because you know that because you know that you wouldn't have a lick of political support. Now, the issue is who … the issue is, you can't name me anybody presently in politics that did more to introduce policies that reduce the number of real abortions instead of the hot air putting out to tear people up and make votes by dividing America."

“This is not your rally. I heard you. That's another thing you need is a president, somebody who will stick up for individual rights and not be pushed around, and she won't."

Finally, a campaign theme for HRC: "Hillary '08: Sticking up for the right to abort innocent babies!"

You know, I don't know many people who are more active in the pro-life movement than I am, and I cannot recall ever hearing a prolifer express an interest in prosecuting or jailing women. To be sure, there are plenty of prolifers who favor going after doctors who perform illegal abortions. Indeed, I am one of them. But the prolifers I know have no desire to prosecute women who seek out abortions in a post-Roe world. No, what they need is our mercy and support. Bill Clinton, of course, knows this to be the case. But when you cannot debate the merits straight up, I suppose the only thing you can do is attempt to mischaracterize your opponent's arguments or engage in baseless personal attacks.

Has there ever been a man less worthy to occupy the White House than Bill Clinton? I think not.

The U.S. needs to switch back the party colours. Blue socialists, and red conservatives? It’s just to confusing. You’ve made a start.

Raging sickie. The irony of baby killer Bill telling a pro-life person what he must believe...These degenerates know no bounds.

1 out of 15 other conservative principles he spits on. Not counting Keating 5 .... I’m sure that would be brought up over and over if he was a democrat ... and rightly so. Plus his magnetic personality. (sarcasm)

Trust factor ... about the same a J ‘effing’ Kerry (he told us about Nam all the time as well)

Bet you wouldn’t buy a used car that had ratios of problems like that

....but we can’t let John McCain’s 96% NARAL pro life rating stand in the way of our blind hatred for the man since he is doesn’t agree with us on every single issue.

&&&
I don’t know of anyone who hates McCain. I admire and respect him for his service to our country and for the horrible conditions he endured with honor as a POW.

There are areas in which I think he would do well, as in the WOT. The reason that I will not vote for him is that I do not trust him to secure our borders. Plain and simple. No hatred, just a major concern I have.

It’s laughable to hear Democrats, especially this Democrat, talk about division of the country. I heard it said that Roe v. Wade threw down the gauntlet of the cultural war in this country and I agree with that.

It wasn’t conservatives who were in the majority. It’s not conservatives who invented the frauds known as “affirmative action” “diversity” or “political correctness,” the welfare state or support illegal immigration.

Those are the issues dividing this country and they’re all illegitimate children of the Democratic Party.

The more this campaign drags on, the more I realize that Hillary’s candidacy is simply an attempt by Bill and Hillary Clinton to circumvent the 22nd Amendment. Hillary was co-president the first time around and there is no doubt in my mind that Hillary will be returning the favor this go-around.

Not sure why conservatives continue to downplay JMcC’s good pro-life stance. The perfect should not be the enemy of the good

Very predictable piece of human nature. The more a person has invested his personal involvement in an issue, the narrower the range of acceptable positions on that issue. Extremists will have only one pinpoint position--their own-- and everyone else's will be lumped together and indiscriminately distorted away into the unacceptable outer darkness.

This is classically illustrated by the purists who say "there is no difference between McCain and Clinton." Of course, there are large differences in reality, but to the extremist the differences are insignificant, meaningless, and may not even be perceived.

Clinton has aborted the country, when you analyze his
temerity in dealing with difficult situations...He is
only for his perverted self, and his pardons
were purely Clintoneque. Best thing that can happen
is defeat these animals and let them squeal...oink, JK

Open borders McCain, Clintoon, Obama,......
Got to get those borders open and flowing because abortion has so depleted this generation of Democrat voters because 40 million (mostly liberal and mostly black) American babies, since Row v. Wade never saw the light of day much less the voting booth.

As a conservative Texan I see the Demo elite underestimating the Hispanic family values.
After the southern border is opened I think the liberals will be surprised to learn that they have increased the conservative ballot box by millions.

Do you trust Obama or Hillary to secure the borders?

The facts are that Hillary, Obama, and McCain have the same position on securing the border and one of the three will be the next President of the United States. That will happen if you vote for one of them, or if you vote for a third candidate, or if you stay at home and pout.

Since I live in the real world, I will make my choice between McCain and Hillary/Obama based on their differences. And McCain, though to the left of me, is way to the right of Hillary/Obama...so McCain, as the most conservative candidate that has a chance to get elected, gets my vote in November even though he is ever so wrong on the immigration issue.

Amen, amen, amen. And even if we vote for him in November, we can still fight him on immigration. We may be able to steer him into positive action on that issue, given the political make-up of congress.
