a militant spouse (a cross between Serena Williams and Maxine Waters)
Who, Bill’s or Barack’s?

on the other hand there is a handsome, "articulate and clean", charismatic, smooth talking (as long as the teleprompter doesn't break down), rock-star-like darling of a candidate with a militant spouse Sounds like both Obama AND Bill, to me...

with a militant spouse (a cross between Serena Williams and Maxine Waters). Someone finally said it. Michelle is a hater. She hates the society that sent her off to get a platinum education and brought her within striking distance of the White House. Figure that one out.

Barak’s wife is “militant”? I don’t see much TV, so all I have to go on are MSM stories touting her as an asset to the Obama campaign. So do you think she actually has the ability to turn off swing voters?

do you think she actually has the ability to turn off swing voters?Yes, actually, I do. I have been watching her for a while, to the extent that has been possible. I took the position early on that she is a detriment to his campaign. Capt. Ed has a post about her speech at UCLA which is interesting. I'll go find it for you.

You should listen to her speech at UCLA, I believe. She says our souls are broken and Obama will fix this spiritual deficit. Try michellemalkin.com for more coverage. Look for the article with a picture of Obama and halo.
She doesn’t understand basic economics, either, but telling me that my soul needs to be fixed and that Obama will “not let” people go until “change” is accomplished has me more than concerned. She sounds fascistic.

Baraks wife is militant? Michelle has a chip on her shoulder. Many leftists, of course, will think that's cool.
She's also ambitious and views Barack's elevation as a chance for her to perform the "2-for-1" act. First Lady as policy-maker, Hillary redux.

Suddenly, out of the political cloud (and the Chicago political regime) there arose a clatter for a Party savior, a black true liberal, "an articulate, clean African-American" riding on a horse provided by the reverend Farrakhan, pranced out of the rubble of Camelot to save the day and the Party.

I can get in my car and drive about twenty miles down a US highway, and see a neon light in a single wide trailer that promises physic readings. But why do that when I can log on to Free Republic and read the posts?

If the March primary states go for Hillary and she catches up on delegates it is going to be amusing to see all those Democrats who have jumped on Obama’s wagon, hesitate, then jump off again and scurry back to the Clintons.

That is willfully perverse logic.
Nixon, Reagan, GHWB, and GWB won by attracting disaffected Dems whose choices were too liberal. It’s the only way a Republican can win.
This is not to say that you should vote for McCain, just that your reasoning is flawed. There are conservatives who consider themselves Democrats, either because of family voting history, union membership, or peer pressure.
