Just a guess, I heard an opinion, that after God had His animals enter the Ark, He had them sleep a deep sleep, so they would be little trouble for His human caretakers.

Just a guess, I heard an opinion, that after God had His animals enter the Ark, He had them sleep a deep sleep, so they would be little trouble for His human caretakers.
Sounds like a good idea! Maybe God should just have stored their DNA and reconstituted them; or just have recreated them de novo. Certainly would have save Noah a lot of trouble, but that's just my opinion. Who am I to tell God what to do?
